Diddums 4,350
After the success of WoW, Blizzard was busy making a very mysterious game which was shrouded in more mystery than Half Life 3. It was code named Titan and Blizzard knew nothing about it, and refused to comment. Over the years a few leaks happened, rumours spread like wildfire and the speculation and gossip could put the entire Murdoch empire to shame. Eventually Blizzard cancelled Titan and that's when they finally admitted to it, and it turns out that it was to be a massive MMO with a large PVP element. They ditched it all apart from the PVP, and that is the game we now call Overwatch. Polygon wrote a good article on it. https://www.polygon.com/2015/3/20/8264313/what-overwatch-didnt-learn-from-titan-and-why-it-could-be-blizzards Quite interesting stuff. I know many will know of this already but for those of you who don't, now you know Ciao xxx GazzaGarratt, tronic44 and BO7H B4RRELS 3 Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/4567-the-hidden-history-of-overwatch/ Share on other sites
GazzaGarratt 11,180
Great read and I wasn't aware of the link myself. I really hope now they've had validation in how solid and successful the game is worldwide (regardless if you like it or not) they can focus on expanding the story and create new multiple PvE events. Maybe even make some quest lines. The blueprint is there, they just need to answer the public question.
