Each has a machine connected to a kind of server you must kill after overriding (best comparison I can think of) and most have machines you must kill but one has humans. When overridden you unlock the possibility to override certain machines. Can't think of any spesific tactics other than be fully stocked on health and ammo and resources to craft more before entering. I did the one with mostly humans without ammo (forgot to stock up) but I had the Shield Weaver armor so didn't care. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Killing the end boss grants you the ability to hack more machines. First one I found I was close to one and got a signal on my Focus. I haven't bothered with traps when doing cauldrons. Just bring lots of ammo and resources to make more on the way.
