TigerBurge 2,375
I'm going to paste the reddit thread about the quest. It's rather lengthy and you will need all three classes for two parts of it.
TigerBurge 2,375
Here is a step by step guide how to get the new raid exotic pulse rifle Outbreak Prime in your hands in roughly 4-5 hours, it took us a little longer, but hey, no one made a write up like this yet. Lets get into it: WARNING: You will have the most ease doing this quest if you enter the raid, and do all of this, with a fireteam of 2 of each class. 2 Warlocks, 2 Titans, and 2 Hunters. Warning you now, so when you get to step 11, you don't have to LFG out of your friend group. Fire up the raid, and get defeat Vosik a second time, when you complete this, go to the front left death room, and jump up the ceiling vent, and turn on Monitor 1. Once you're in the second jumping maze, following the encounter where you kill Vosik, go to the first exotic chest, which is in the room to the right, Monitor 2 will be hidden above you. After the Zamboni, you will get off it before it falls, look to the right, and there will be a door portruding on the left side, shoot it, and walk inside for Monitor 3. Here's where things get tricky. Clear the server room, and go into the room with the big black diamond. Once done, use this map to set 4 people on the highlighted canisters. Have the remaining two Guardians return to the prior room and have go to monitors on the far left and far right of this room. The left Guardian's monitor will be the columns, and the right will be the rows. Left and right are dictated by the entrance to this room that you first come through. In sync, hold down x/square and a number in binary will appear on both. Apparently they do not have to be done in sync, you can have one or both people hold down x/a and get the results on the monitor. Use this converter to transform those numbers into decimal form, aka numbers that make sense. Using these numbers and the map, you will have the row and column that each Guardian is to move to. The first set of numbers is where the Guardian in quadrant 00 is to move to first. Then the second is for 01, the third is for 02, and the final is for 03. It should be noted that when converted, the numbers are from 0-5, so 0 indicates the real first row/column of the section. Once all of the Guardians are in their new positions, the black diamond will open and Monitor 4 will be available. There is also a chest in this small space, it is my understanding that everyone will get an Exotic engram, and this emblem. Kill Aksis, and go underneath to activate Monitor 5, and open the chest. Inside this chest is a Siva Engine. This is the start of the quest, and will be taken to Shiro, where he will give you the first part of the quest. Using a fireteam of 1 Titan, 1 Warlock, and 1 Hunter, you will need to do some activities seen here. The easiest way to do these, is to do the Nightfall, 3 Archon Forge missions, and throw 3 games of elimination. As for the pulse kills, you can manage them between the Forge and the Nightfall. The next part is tuning the engine, so head down to the Iron temple. Go to the Inventory menu, and inspect the Siva Engine. There should be a node for you to press x/a on, and it will then look like this. If you don't want to do the math to solve it, the entries will be different for each class. They are: Warlock: 31313 Hunter: 23223 Titan: 32323(assuming the top is 1, and bottom is 3.) Once this is done, it will open a final column, where you once you and you're fellow guardians have entered the correct entries, you will be able to click all three nodes in this column. It will then prompt you to talk to Shiro, and you will move on. The next part of this quest looks like this. The easiest way to do these is to knock out the strike, and the Archon Forge straight up. Note: if you don't have Siva Offerings to get into the Archon Forge because you used them on the earlier part of this quest, walk in to the Forge, very slowly, and you have a chance to matchmake with people who will have offerings/are currently in a Public Event down there. If after these you don't have "Actively Explore the Plaguelands" completed, you get a pretty nice amount from just opening chests. Now you will have to return to the Iron Temple, where you will have to do another puzzle on yourSiva Engine (Charged). If you do not wish to solve it the hard way, use the methods listed below for you, again, based off your class. The inputs are: Warlock: 13334 Hunter: 24414 Titan: 42123(again assuming 1 is the top, and 4 is now the bottom) Once this is completed talk to Shiro again. He will now tell you (much to your dismay) to go back and complete the raid again. Nothing fancy, no monitors, just straight up beat the three bosses. If you and your fireteam of 6 were the right combo (mine wasn't) you can use the same raid team again, or make new friends. [EDIT: Apparently you can go through and beat any three bosses, in the raid, and it counts. Vosik, the second encounter, Zamboni, or Aksis, second encounter! They can be any combination of the three. You can do Vosik three times, Vosik, Zamboni and Vosik again, or just beat the raid straight through doesn't matter.] Once this is completed, touch back down to Iron Temple with your other two guardians, alone. Now completed the last puzzle. This final one is literally all randomly generated, there is no set one per class. Use this converter and enter the info on your screen to get the correct sequence. Once all three of you have done it, you will be able to click the furthest right node, and will now talk to Shiro to complete. Profit. Everyone's Outbreak Prime will drop at 390 light. It's really nice, it has a Hawksaw archetype with insane perks. Big thanks to Datto and the guides that followed him for helping me make this, I just figured I'd throw most of this into layman's terms for those of us who had to literally had a hard time gathering all the info. Hope you guys have as much fun as I did doing this. Happy Hunting. Edit 1: words and things. Reddit formatting is weird sometimes, I think this is everything though. Edit 2/TLDR: Datto just posted a video guide! Here is the link. Edit 3: As asked about rows and columns a little more in depth: For rows, 00 is the closest to the center of the server room, 05 is furthest back. For columns, use the numbering on either the map, or visually in the server room, you'll see it. Like for the columns in 00 it'll say. 0 00, 1 00, 2 00, etc. and you use that to dictate which one you'll need to go to. So if for 00 the monitors say row 4, column 3, you'll go to the 5th canister out on column 3 00. USE THE MAP ITS YOUR FRIEND BELIEVE ME Edit 4: You don't HAVE to do the 2/2/2 split of classes for the raid, it was a suggestion to make it easier for you guys. In Step 17, I meant that me and my raid group were not the correct classes to do the quests together so we ended up splitting apart and I had to form a new group for the final part. Leaving both remarks for context. Edit 5: Added some things that people commented. Edit 6: Changed step 16, warlock and hunter codes were reversed. Sorry about that, good call VCU. BO7H B4RRELS 2,452
Can't believe we missed the quest by missing one monitor, lol. We need to do that this week.
Bluebear 336
Bit of a bump here, but I decided it was better than starting a new topic. I have yet to get Outbreak Prime. I have the quest started, but I beleive I have to charge the SIVA engine up or something. GazzaGarratt

GazzaGarratt 11,035
We need to start looking to WotM on normal again so we can get used to it. On one those runs we can then do this quest.
