It is basically the replacement system to Twitch Turbo. The merger between Amazon and Twitch with the introduction to this program was actually a great move. You get a free sub to whomever you want each month (streamer gets paid and you get their emotes, sub only mode etc) Twitch also has begun building it's own launcher like steam for indie games. It sucks to have another launcher but still pretty neat they give you free stuff each month.

I watch Twitch almost the entirety of my work day for background noise, so this is a great perk for me as we already had Amazon Prime.

The streamers appear to be happy too as it's now easier to sub and costs nothing extra.

Not sure about the launcher idea though, Steam, Origin and Uplay are plenty already, not to mention my mod launchers...

This looks like a really cool move. It'sbecoming an emerging market to stream lots more games and tournaments so this is a really good way to help groups and communities grow whilst sharing what they enjoy doing. It could make me think about buying prime because I want some amazon perks but didn't think it was worth the price. May be different now.
