Sorry man, on vacation this week, so not really paying attention to the forums

 

That being said, I just built a new Rig, its about an hour old. 

 

So I am up for whatever. Just let me know what game and time zone. 

 

I work 7-6 Monday - thursday and then I am home on Fridays. I sort of work on fridays but not really.

Fridays might be a good time to get together. Maybe trail this next Friday?

 

6pm eastern time translates to 11pm UK time. I can stay up late on a Friday if I've been a good boy.

 

Other than that I'm open to suggestions.

 

Game-wise I'm happy to play whatever. Minecraft has been touted by others. Other than that, I have most FPS shooters on PC so I can play pretty much anything that gets suggested.

I've a actually never played mine craft. I've tried to get into it but I can't get past the graphics. I also picked 7 days to die which is a zombie apocalypse survival and I can't get into it. It's too pixilated. I'd definitely give mine craft a try.

I would also play borderlands 2 or presequel. Borderlands 2 is probably one of my favorite games.

Let me know what you guys want to do so I can get setup and get the game. Oh, I also wouldn't mind playing Civilization 5. I've never tried multiplayer.

Civ 5 multiplayer would be cool.  Could we get 4 or 5 of us on a large map and have at it?  Sounds fun.  I suck at it, but it would be pretty cool.

Civ 5 Multiplayer does a round robin style, so not really sure that would be a good idea.

 

Borderlands 2 is doable, even though I am not a fan of it, I would team up with you guys to run around. (I prefer Borderlands 1 to be honest)

 

And I agree with the Texture packs being needed for minecraft, without them the game looks really bad. I can't see how people play it that way

Yes! Civ V on multiplayer is fun. I don't think a turn based game will be a bother especially if we are on teamspeak or something like that. It'll be like playing a board game.

Dave is checking to see if the Forever Gaming teamspeak is dead. If so, I'm going to start a new one tonight. I've checked it out and it's free for non-commercial enterprises, though the amount of slots are not finite.

 

I'll be on it most nights when up and running and people are welcome to join as and when. Will advertise the new server address if needed.

 

Me and James are likely to be using it for GTA V and we have a Forever Gaming crew for the PC version of that game.
