I am extremely tempted to buy the Lego Ultimate Collectors Edition Tie Fighter as an investment. They're going for £180ish on the Lego site and will be rare.

For reference, the Millennium Falcon RRP'd at $600. Good sealed ones are commanding anything from $4k to $12k.

I think I should do it. What do you guys think?

Hmmm. I still have a few unbuilt sets here. Benny's Spaceship, Ecto 1, Tower Bridge and a few small knick knacks. 

 

I think Imma do it. £160 ain't bad (I also get £20 off) and it's not going to drop in value any time soon.

That's very impressive. It was a submission to the Lego Ideas programme:

There are two, big one and a small one. You could find the instructions and order the parts from brickbuilder if you wanted to build it though.

As an aside, ships are boring as hell to build which is why I don't have the Maersk cargo ship.
