J4MES OX4D 10,019
Modernised N64 console with pre-orders going live this month with a cost of $250. Uses the OG cartridges but can play games in up to 4K with lots of display customisation available. Kinda makes me wish Nintendo released a mini N64 instead as that would've been a monumental success. This does look good though but I can't see me dusting off my collection and spending that sort of money. Analogue Fully Unveils Its Modernized N64 - Preorders Go Live October 21 - GameSpot WWW.GAMESPOT.COM The Analogue 3D is 100% compatible with the entire N64 library of games and is designed to replicate the look of CRT TVs in 4K resolution. Luseth 1,927
I love the Analogue products, they fill a bit of a niche but seem to be really good quality products. I have had my eye on the Analogue Pocket for a while, I suspect it will be next year when I have some disposable income. That said I wouldn't probably buy this as I don't have a big N64 collection, I have a great looking console though which looks great on the shelf. I do appreciate the modern consoles being released as it gives us a way to continue to play the original cartridges and such, modern TV's have somewhat prevented it in recent years. Never liked the controllers and very little of my friends had one when we were growing up. I wish Analogue could make an all in one version for old console games. It would cost a fortune but that one would be well worth it.
