It's getting ridiculous now at this point. We just started to have some melt last week and now we got hit with 6" fresh inches on top of what we still had. I think we are within only a few inches of this being the most snow ever in Detroit area in one year. Last I checked we were close to 90" total for the winter so far

6 more inches, that really stinks. Recently my area dodged two big snow storms that fell south of us. We only got a dusting last night but the freezing rain made up for it. It was 65 Tuesday my yard was a mud swamp, today it’s a sheet of ice. It’s been one of the coldest winters in terms of length of time at or below freezing and our snowfall is close to the record high of 1995. All this forced natural gas and electric to go up 25% and 38% respectively because more was used/generated to handle heating demands. People are pissed… Kick rocks winter!

I'm trying to think of something either witty or consoling, and all I'm coming up with is "I'm also very fucking tired of all of this snow and ice."  I dunno, read it in a French accent or something.

TIL:

Some days Drifter lives on Hoth

Other days he lives on Dagobah

Good luck man

Luke 23:34
'And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't think it be like it is, but it do."

LMAO that pretty much describes the past few days changes. Just hope this summer is not tatooine

Nah man, thats whats gonna happen for me.

Luke 23:34

I can't believe it....we actually hit 50F today. After such a long cold winter 50F felt more like 75F!

I actually was able to get the rest of the Christmas decoration out of the yard today because they finally came unstuck from the ground. Even went for the first walk of the year. Feels weird to be able to actually do something outside finally
