Does anyone know much about this one? Haven't heard anything about it, but the trailer looks decent.

A bunch of content creators did some videos on it a couple of weeks ago. I watched a few. It does look great and has a lot of Tarkov vibes. If they pull it off and it all works then it'll be up my street.

By pull it off I mean net code, lag etc need to he non existent... plus shooting mechanics all need to be top notch.

Some of the folk making this used to be devs at Bohemia, i.e. they worked on Arma and DayZ, which is a plus for me.

It's looking like it's going to be a great game, can't wait to get a go on it.

One of the annoyances with Tarkov is extraction camping, it's not massively prevalent in my experience, only on a couple of maps where there are only a few extractions available...but looks like that's almost totally negated in this game.

Developers seem like absolute twats sadly. There's been some solid feedback but they just don't want to listen and are really up content creators arses and not prospective buyers who are actually providing key feedback rather than just milking viewers. The fact passengers can't fire guns whilst in helicopters is absolutely fatal and will just see people camping landing and extraction zones only to be shot as soon as they exit. Things like this need to be understood and addressed logically rather than the devs throwing toys out of their pram.

Shame because it does have a lot of impressive elements so it will be sad if they sour things with the community before the game is even out.

It's 30 quid, you can buy supporter packs that give you more equipment and space etc but I'm fine for the time being. If I enjoy the game and feel like supporting the devs I'll look at that down the line.

I've played about an hour or so.

It's definitely still in an early access state. I was getting 60+ frames but there's a bit of stuttering and occasional lag and that needs to be sorted. A few server issues getting into the game but didn't crash on me at all.

Arma Reforger is in a much better state and right now I'd tell folk to go for that first but I'm happy with this game, hope it gets supported and they sort out their servers.

Only 44% positive so far but I'm guessing lots of people are leaving a negative review after 0.3 hours after experiencing performance issues or bitching that the game isn't finished🤣

Arma Reforger seems to have come a long way of late and the population is picking up so I may check that out in time.

I've played 2 hours of the game, it's a bit janky but I'm really liking it.

I chose the LRI faction, which can never be changed, and this means if you have friends who choose one of the other factions (there's 3 in total) you can't play with them as they are effectively your enemy.

A dipshit team-killed me tonight which was a bit stupid as you can see all your faction players location on the map. I hunted the prick down and had my revenge : )

Game needs some work but they seem to be pretty responsive as we can shoot from helicopters now, so hope they continue to listen to feedback 🤗

I bought the game for 29.99 and if they carry on making it better I'll support them by picking up one of the supporter upgrades...will see anyway...

I got team-killed again today but this time it didn't seem to be griefing as he apologised but I think I'll move over to the pve only servers which have friendly fire on, at least until I'm level 20 and doing higher level stuff with - in theory - better experienced players 🤪

I've completed an introduction mission from one of the vendors and I'm currently lvl 2.

Killed lots of ai but they've done me a few times too, they'll reposition and actually chase after and look for you, if you run away or move to another building etc

It's definitely still too laggy to recommend I'd say but I'm enjoying learning the map and mechanics and my 5 hours have been a blast.

There has been an update for this game so I'll boot it up later this evening. It needs a lot of work on optimisation and even with low settings makes my PC work its arse off. Fantastic game otherwise.

I actually went back on Tarkov after their backtrack, which runs like a dream..

after lots of years of optimisation tbf
