NCA-Paendrag 2,675 Posted October 28, 2023 Share Posted October 28, 2023 I want to clean my PS5, but think I heard somewhere that you can do more damage than good if you use compressed air. Is it safe to do this, or should you open the console? slamminbones 1,708 Posted October 28, 2023 Share Posted October 28, 2023 I would recommend just opening it as i actually did mine other day. It's pretty simple as long as you have to correct tool. One tip do not get the screws mixed up when taking the fan out as they are different sizes. If you take just the side panels off there is small vents you can hover. I may do it and post it in my PPR and tag you in it but it will be a strip down or you could just youtube it as there's plenty of videos.
