A lack of a decent alternative is why Activision just keep doing what they want. They know people will buy COD no matter what.
Just literally typing the same thing, it would be nice to see something challenge CoD. I don't expect anything will, Bf2042 really missed at least a decent opportunity and Titanfall failed.
I remember @techno talking about this series a while back so its nice to see it get another game in the series. I think they still have their place these FPS war campaign games. Do they ever have a Multiplayer side of things?
Yes there is an mp but I've never done it. Also with this it seems you can invade someone else's campaign and cause them grief 🤔
I'd played an earlier sniper elite then picked up sniper elite 4 free in the monthly games. I played it through a few times and bought the dlc missions. I love the bullet mechanics especially the testicle shot (nice detail). I'm definitely interested in this thanks for posting as it's the first I've seen.
Oh and I don't do stealth I just murder everyone it's more satisfying 😁
I've pre-ordered beyond light and I'll probably pick up cold war as I didn't bother with MW19 and I've done all I can in the last 7 months with blops4. I hope though to get into cyberpunk more than I usually do with single player games.
I bought the last one mainly for.the wife so I never really played it but then neither did she 😂 I used to buy stuff on a whim these days in trying to avoid doin that.
I'm also not a fan of cartoony stuff unless it's a platformer or on a Nintendo console but with this game I think it's more that it's cell shaded graphics that kind of give off that look. My only gripe with Borderlands is that it can sometimes feel too bullet spongey.

Borderlands: the handsome collection is currently free via PS Plus if you wanna try it out, it's not as cartoony as you'd think. At lease nowhere near Fortnite levels of cartoony.
Let's not pretend this isn't a destiny/titanfall mashup. It's a destiny/titanfall mashup. That doesn't mean it a) can't be good and b) can't coexist.
I'm taking the stance that a game must be good for it to be purchased. NO PREORDERS. Those days are gone. If a game in its current form is good enough to buy, then great. I'm not waiting for expansion xyz to make it how it should have been.
I actually thought destiny and division mashup but I agree with the sentiment, no more pre-orders. Infact I want to be more than merely satisfied.
Well from what I've seen anthem looks dull and runs slower than destiny when there's lots on the screen and division 2 well the division is one of the few games I've actually traded in and the second one doesn't look much different. With the better weather around the corner in expecting no hoping for less time to play so no plans to get either, however as playing with you guys is most of the fun I'll see how shit goes, at the moment out of those I can't see past divvy 2.
I bit the bullet and picked it up cheap on CDKeys in the end. Had a few games of Conquest earlier and found it to be pretty bland in all honesty. It is basically musical chairs with flags - it's very hard to defend a position and very easy to gain them so essentially games just decline into trading flags. You can also get shot in any direction it seems as the matches have no real flow or strategy unless every squad is in sync. Nobody seems to know what the fuck they are doing either. I will try the Grand Operations next because Conquest doesn't seem to work well on any of the maps and that's supposed to be the traditional flagship mode. No improvement over the beta really.
Movement mechanics seem fuid but the gunplay is inconsistent and the animations are pretty wonky. Visually the game is stunning maxed out on PC and runs smooth as butter but the live service UI is horrible. The respawn times have also been cut thankfully. Still too early to judge fully but this feels like it's the weakest and most incomplete Battlefield game on launch yet. Higher level players (people who paid £30 more to play a buggier game 5 days early) also have a huge advantage over new players too and the starting guns are a load of horseshit.
I got into battlefield late with BF4 which I now consider to be my favourite fps game from playing dom which got my cod style fix to tank hunting in conquest so to see it goto shit with bf1 and now this is sad. That first 30 secs of angry Joe's video I mean wtf ?
Not sure if I'll get to try it but I've heard nothing that makes me really want to tbh, the more squad based it gets the less im interested as I like to be able to play solo too.
Hopefully there will be enough people getting it and it's easy enough to get a squad together, and it's fun.
Im also hopeful there will be a gamemode that's easier to deal with when solo, I played a hell of alot of domination in BF4 10v10 and no vehicle whores to deal with, I'd love to see this option again. It didn't draw me in in bf1

Just watched this and all I hear is team play this squad play that what about the solo player? Having to rely on ransoms in battlefield is always a.joy🤣
Theres alot of info dropped in the video and sounds complete im hoping it's not as bad as it sounds.
If it is frustrating as a solo player I'll drop this probably faster than bf1.
The weapons etc look ww2 but could it just be a ww2 themed alternate reality?
I don't care about authenticity, it's a video game it's always baffled me why people care about that, im only interested in how it plays and will it be fun etc and from that trailer you can't tell.
