What gaming podcasts do people listen to I have an hour to work and an hour back and am looking for a new podcast to listen to. I listen to gamertag radio but am getting a bit bored of that?

I tend to watch/listen to some Destiny youtube videos lately on the way to work. Unknown Player and My Name is Byf, mainly for the info and lore of the game.

Can't beat Angry Joe if you have more time though! [emoji23]

I listen to a bunch of different podcasts. The gaming type ones I listen to aren't really video game related, more D&D playing because I like stories. They are:

• The Adventure Zone
• Acquisitions Incorporated (just started this one)
• Dragon Talk (just subscribed, no idea whether I like it yet)
• Critical Role (I watch it more on youtube. Subbed just for if I feel like listening to the old episodes while driving)

I have an iPhone now and use Overcast. When I was still with Android I used Podcast Addict.

 

I liked the set up of Podcast Addict better, especially for downloading older episodes, but Overcast is the closest I've been able to find on iOS. It's a bit more clunky for downloading old stuff and you actually can't turn off the automatically downloading new episodes You can choose whether you want to download with data or wifi, but can't make it so you have to manually select which episodes to download.

Ah cool. May look into this as a substitute for no youtube videos to listen to in the morning on the way to work. Do you have to pay for that Podcast Addict?

If I remember correctly there's an option to upgrade it so you don't get ads, but otherwise it's free. I think I ended up giving them some money at some point because I had Google Play credit and I like it.
