My erratic sleep patterns not helped by a phone call at 2.20am from my son to unlock the door as he'd left his key at his mates! Feeling a little frazzled at the moment!
Have a lovely day everyone and enjoy your weekend!
Anyone else hitting lag problems?
I think it hits me after about an hour or so and when it hits you don't just stutter you can be looking at a pickaxe head for 5-10 seconds.
I've got a Sony Vaio SVF 152C29M laptop with i5 1.8GHz processor, 4.00GB RAM (3.88 Usable), Intel HD Graphics 4000 running W8.1 64 bit OS
Previous discussions with Bart at installation made me change the Minecraft launcher to a 2GB version.
When I play I dont have web browsers open at the same time or music playing from the laptop
Any ideas?
Ok tried this...
dig, dig, dig...one block at a time, torches, torches, dig, dig, lava....ohshitohshitohshitohshit...die
Solo is probably not a good idea!
It is but I'm saving it...I over estimated the glass blocks I needed and I haven't been that clumsy!
I think I'll run with a minimalist theme inside with different areas defined with different floor stones
Once I've illuminated the inside to stop internal mob spawns, I'm torn between planning the farm and visiting the Nether world
If you turn mobs on will the f7 function be disabled? Given the hours I've put in creating this space I'd rather finish making it safe!
Also, you mention about the three of us having a massive advantage...I didn't appreciate that this was a competitive game?
I've finished clearing out the 3 block high area through the mountain and started installing the glass panes.....but I have to say that the panes are not as clear as I wanted over a large area....the coloured lines obscure the view. I can understand that in glass blocks but I thought panes would be clear, the purpose of window panes being to see through
This may entail a rethink...on a footbal field sized scale!
