    I'm in the process of moving...I made a mistake with my first place...far too big and ambitious. When Ive moved my stuff over the next few days, it's up for grabs. I'll leave the second condensor/collector hooked up but I won't use it so it'll just sit there holding it's charge. Whoever takes the place or wants to loot can have it. I'll put a post up when I've finished in the base...please leave everything until then

    I went down the same road as Greboth (apart from the leather for the books! ) with the diamond armour etc but used the collector for the fuel cells. I think one of each (E Coll/E Cond)sounds fine by me and I would also add possibly not hammering it while others are on line? A lot of the time I'm on by myself due to waking up bright and alert at 5 a.m. and I'm the only one on so that scenario shouldn't cause a problem. If there's a bunch of people on then take it easy and communicate Lee...your comment about asking the rest of the FG community...it's actually the complete opposite. If you have time to organise materials then post up and ask the community. If you want to build stuff quick and you have the a fully charged Mk1 Energy collector linked to an Energy Condensor you can generate thousands of basic 1 EMC building blocks or even 156 64 EMC Obsidian blocks (toughest of all) literally in seconds....from light. Upgrade to a Mk3 and that increases 6 fold!! You wanted an Obsidian house Crispy, that's a method but it might be a little dark and gloomy all that black! Put me down for contributing to others builds as well

    Bart, Are we limited to a total of 10 warp points or can it be increased? Just thinking that, including you we have 12 members at the moment and only 10 warp points. Could it be increased so that everyone can have one (say Dave2, Bartwarp, etc) for when we're moving about?

    Slightly derailing for a second, this is the first time I've ever played this game (hence my "Minecraft Problem" as you put it ) and I can't imagine it without teleporting/warping...give me more warp points!!!

    Okay, I've started this to take it out of the server thread but also to try and talk through my thoughts on them... Energy Collectors This to me is a glitzy MC solar panel/rechargeable battery/fuel enhancer. I don't have too much of a problem with this as it's almost "real world". If it's empty, connected to an Energy condensor and fully charged I presume there's no demand on the server and it just sits there - is that correct? Energy Condensors Now here I'm two minds. I know this is a game, but in real life, this degree of duplication is not available Granted, you have to have obtained at least one of the target objects in game to get it to do it's work. Want 250 Obsidian blocks in a hurry, drop an emerald to pay and it's the work of seconds. That's kinda like trading so I'm okay with that. Mined and stored 8,000+ stone blocks? Throw them in the box and get a diamond...you've ground them out so I'm okay with that. Put six torches on the wall and swop the light from that for something material like a diamond (yeah, mia culpa) that, on relection, is maybe not so good...you could just not bother trying for the Fortune pickaxe! What are your thoughts? Oh, and I think I'll scrap the second collector/condensor that Bart didn't spot in the other room!

    Okay, this is beginning to make sense. So basically don't leave anything running (apart from collectors - no off switch) in the background that you've not got a reason for e.g. No stockpiling diamonds, etc. Only use them for something you're actually building. How about stuff like automatic crop harvesting...is that the same? Apart from this, is there anything else that may screw the server? You can probably guess from our chunks/blocks conversation that I'm not that savvy at game mechanics Don't get stressed over this Bart, but I think some of us may need a little more hand holding in the short term. Oh, and I've been kicked twice for being AFK writing this post!

    No you didn't , and I didn't realise that things like this had an effect on the server. But, speaking as a beginner and I must stress without any criticism intended, it was you that told me about Collectors and Condensors when I was struggling for leather. Human nature will always lead us to try and "beat" the system (hands up those who have NEVER used a cheese in a game?) so I wanted to see what I could do. If that's a no-no then I'll play fair and get rid of one and use the other Condensor as and when required. Is that a fair shout? With regards to the Collectors, these seem designed,as I see it, to enrich fuel and to just keep running...is this correct? I was actually running an experiment on one last night....put 64 coal in a Mk.3 Collector, go to bed, see what's there at the end of 6-7 hours. If these are causing a problem, put the remote AFK boot back on because they don't have an off switch. Is there anything else we should avoid because of resource drain? Please don't take any of the above as a criticism because it's not meant that way at all....these past few weeks have been really enjoyable but, as with coming to any game late, there is an awful lot to learn

    Will do... I've been reading that EE the mod people have taken red matter out of their latest package...does this mean the Mk2 Energy Collector is as good as it gets?

    Bart, needed a leather sample so I warped to your place. I reasoned as you had cows in a pen there might be some nearby, left by the furthest wall I could find and killed some cows (and a sheep I think). Hope it's not classed as rustling!
