  1. He's already been playing League, so blow me! He's level 8 or so, haha. Probably 2 or 3x past where you gave up?
  2. Well, it looks like the idea is receiving good support, so... shall we proceed? Name of clan? Member list. etc., etc., etc.
  3. Nice! Get that bad boy plugged into the WWW.
  4. Datte, you just won this game. Congratulations. We're all fighting for second place now.
  5. Make a post in the thread - PC Noob Corner. And, I'm sure someone will be able to help you out.
  6. We wouldn't be trying to take over the world. Just team up to learn from each other, have some fun, and kick some ass. Same approach DI has. Have fun with your friends while you try to win. If we can get 5 or more people on board, I'll set some stuff up.
  7. I got the charger in the mail today. I was able to get the laptop to turn on, charge, and transferred the pictures to my PC. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I don't know how much we will be using the laptop, but I'm very appreciative of you helping us out. Those pictures mean a lot to us. Now I'm going to reformat the laptop and see how it runs. Maybe play some LoL on it, hahaha.
  8. So we've got 5+ active LoL players on the forum. What would you guys think of making an official LoL Forum Clan? Some of us are more competitive than others, but we could still all get together and play a good mix of PvP, Bots, and Custom games so that our wide range of experienced (or lack thereof) players and all have a good time. I'm sure we could all learn from each other. Thoughts? Dave... I know you're in on this! bahahahahaha!
  9. I wonder if her carpet matches the drapes.
  10. Wait until you get your PC. I've got everything maxed out and it still runs smooth as butter. It is amazing how big of a difference there is. I play on my crap laptop at work and it's so different. Not as pretty or smooth.
  11. I've only used her a few times but she was a lot of fun. She's a strong support. I didn't know you play. Is your name on the OP? Feel free to join up with us sometime.
  12. Mike, thanks for using my referral code and hitting level 5. I got my IP this morning. I'll get more if you hit 10 I hope you're liking it. If you want to try Ziggs, PM me
  13. I don't mind at all. I've never played with a full party before, but I'm sure it's a blast. I'm usually on weeknights 10:15 PM - 1 AM EST.
  14. ^ Origins was a lot of fun. I'd recommend it for sure.
  15. Dragon Age: Origins is the only one I've played. I heard 2 was garabage, so I just skipped it. Did you watch the video? ( think there are 2 more as well ) It looks bad ass. It's like Skyrim or something, but your actions actually affect the world. I'm going to be getting this game for sure. Most likely on PC.
  16. Here's a video that shows how video games can help keep friends together. 50 years ago if a friend moved away, that was the end of that friendship. Sure, you may write letters or later on you could have made phone calls. But, realistically, that friendship would have slowly died. Today with technology we can maintain friendships no matter the distance. I think it's absolutely amazing. This video is pretty cheesy, but it does illistrate my point.
  17. That would be amazing!
  18. When I quit partying 24/7 I gave up a lot of my "friends" (aka - party buddies). I don't have that many friends in real life anymore. I've got one that has been my best friend since we were 5 and 3 years old. I've got another that I've been friends with for about 7 years. Other than that... yeah, I talk to my online friends more than most of my old party friends.
  19. Mike, A lot of us in DI text each other as well. Got to love technology. Meet in an online forum, play games online together, talk through text. Chris, Just trying to get some of the old threads over here before they're gone. And, you can expect a dick pick soon.
  20. Okay, so this video is a bit silly, but there are a lot of truths in it as well. Video games have absolutely brought some people together forming real life, long lasting friendships. Video games can also help siblings bond. Video games can help parents bond with their children. There's a lot of shit talking about video games being a waste of time, but I strongly disagree. Real life friendships can be made through video games. This forum is a testament to that. My parents divorced when I was 6. When I'd go to visit my Dad on the weekends he would play video games with me and my brother. We'd play Combat, Pac Man, Space Invaders, Super Mario Brothers, Excite Bike, Contra, etc., etc. I have a lot of great memories playing games with my Dad when I was little. He still asks me about new games that are coming out and what games I'm playing. He doesn't play anymore (carpal tunnel surgery in both wrists), but he still shows interest in them with me. My daughter likes to watch me play games. She always tells me to "get the bad guys, Daddy!" I let her play Fortress Craft on Xbox 360. She just walks around digging holes and putting Easter eggs in them. I built her a pink house and she loves it. We had a great time together doing that. My best friend, Matt, and I used to play games together throughout our entire childhood. We've been friends since we were 3 & 5. We're both now in our 30's with families. We don't get much free time to make the drive to visit each other, but we still play games together online. It's awesome that we can still play games together even though we live several hours away with little free time. I've made some friends through this forum. Chris and I talk every day through texts or on the phone. Lee and I have met up a few times to hangout and e-mail each other quite often. I'd say a lot of people on this forum have experienced similar friendships. We've all shared personal things with each other, prayed for each other, and have been there for each others difficulties and celebrations. I'm forever grateful for the PC you all built for me. That was a very humbling experience. I'm sure Mike feels exactly the same way. Video gamers can be pretty nasty at times, but they can also be some of the most kind people I've ever come across. Long Live Gaming! Thoughts?
  21. ^ Thunder was a bad mofo back in the original. I was a big fan of Inferno.
  22. Heiman, get online Tuesday night. You, Me, Froggy, and Mike are going to play some LoL.
  23. I'd so stomp your ass at this. It looks badass!
