Can you actually play for free, or does it force you into a bunch of micro transactions to get any enjoyment out of it?

I got to take out the 1903 today, but only at close range and I couldn't really stretch its legs.  Its about 2.5" high at 75-80 yards, so I'm figuring its set to be dead nuts on somewhere around 175, but I'm guessing.  Once I look at a ballistics chart I can figure it out for sure.

    Prone:

    Sitting:

With the following results (the circle is about 1.5" across, so you get an idea of scale):

I had one flier that's just out of the top of the screen on string #1, and you can see I've got one too far right on string #2.  Both were my fault, the gun is capable of much better shooting than me.  The first cartridge I fired was the flier in the first string, and got the target in the "neck".  I wasn't ready for the trigger to break yet, its lighter than I anticipated and while I was taking up the slack...bang!

I moved back as far as I could (my wife was being range safety and not letting anyone walk through an opening in the cinder block wall, so no photos) and did some standing shots:

The one on the right is standing.

I can definitely tighten that up as I get used to the gun and put a sling on it to help hold it steady while shooting.

Once I get a chance to use my "private range" on my own property I can take it back to 150 yards pretty handily and see how it will do.

Tuesday morning my Niece was very upset, "timmy" the red ear slider turtle I bought her back in Feb died. My sister said they found him upside down with all his legs and head limp and hanging out of his shell. My niece obviously was very upset. My sister picked him up and he was completely lifeless, she said she poked his little leg and nothing, he was limp. So she put him in a box and sat him outside behind the house. My Niece went to school and then when her dad got him they were going to burry Timmy in the back yard next to the little Koi pond. My Niece wanted to see him one last time so they opened the lid of the box before they burried him.......Timmy was standing up on all four legs staring at them

Needless to say my Niece started crying again, this time tears of joy

My sister swears he was dead, she said she shoke him and poked him and no response from him. His head/tail and all four legs were hanging limp. I looked online and actually found where this happened to someone else a few years ago. I guess when he flipped upside down he basically drowned, but because a turtles respritory system is so slow that they are not actually "dead" for some time after drowing. So sounds like when my sister took him out and sat him right side up in the box in the backyard, the water in his lungs must have drained out and he came too.

They went and got him a turtle dock to replace the rock that was in his tank plus filled the water higher so that he can right himself if he ever flips upside down again. He's been doing fine now for the past 2 days since this happened. He's a tough little SOB

I went out to eat with two other detectives yesterday, which I rarely do.  (I typically go home for dinner).  I finally asked if I should log on to Facebook and Tweet them to talk to them and then insinuated they were two teenage girls who couldn't wait to find out who asked who to the prom until they put their phones away.

I'm no expert, I can only tell you what's worked for me in the past.  1,000 calories a day isn't enough.  Lose weight too quickly and you're losing more muscle than fat, plus your body doesn't like those rapid changes and will fight harder to get the weight back on.

Something like www.myfitnesspal.com will track your calories.  Shoot for a 500-750 calorie deficit per day when you're losing weight and a 300-500 calorie a day surplus when you're bulking.

Basically when you're gaining weight you want a little surplus so your body says "hey, we're in good times so we can afford the metabolic effort to repair and build muscles."  Its inevitable you will gain some fat as well, though.  So then you cut, but not too fast, so you lost fat faster than muscle.

I was 283 lbs when I decided I was going to get back in shape and be a security contractor.  I got down to 250 when I left.  I'm 245 now, 8 years later.  My body composition has suffered though, and since the end of July I've been losing weight to get my fat content down.  Once I hit about 220 I'll start bulking again, and repeat until I settle in at about 230 with the body fat percentage I want (and can reasonably maintain.)

Again, not a nutritionist or expert, I just know its worked well for me in the past.

I've pulled and used a variation of the "canoe" line twice.  Once when a guy pulled a knife (put the knife down or I'll turn your head into a canoe) and once when a guy kept reaching in his jacket after I told him not to (reach into your jacket again and I'll turn your head into a canoe).  Both believed me, and much like Ike, altered their course of action.  They were both on video and both stores kept them in their training files to show new loss prevention employees.

Just returned home last night from a trip with my good friend Mark to Gates Lodge on the Au Sable for some fishing for wild brook trout. We stayed at Gates on the upper river rather than at my cabin on the mid section of river. Had a wonderful couple days with a good friend catching some beautiful wild brookies on dry flies during the bwo hatch. Also moved a couple really nice browns including one that was in the upper teens/20" range that chased my streamer but would not commit to taking it. Our room at Gates had a view of the river running right by it not even 50ft away, full service Orvis shop 50ft in the other direction of the cabin door, as well river side dinning. Gates is a great place to stay, too bad Rusty passed away so young in 2009 because he was always enjoyable talking too when in the shop.

Weather was cool with night temps hitting the upper 30's but daytime fishing was very nice not only because of the fish and beautiful river but also because the fall colors are starting to pop on the river now.

Here's about a 2-3 min slideshow I put together from the trip, hope you enjoy.

Qualified professional answer: You've got to be kidding me. I've been further even more decided to use even go need to do more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It's just common sense.

I'd say go with changing your in and out bits.
Your question is a completely valid scientific problem.

    Not for me though.

Between the years of 1680 and 1687, there was a little bollox named Issac that lived in England and all of his neighbors couldn't stand him. He was a smart man and he knew it. He'd go around telling people stuff that they weren't interested in. He became a pest.

The villagers came up with a plan at a secret town meeting to get Issac out of the village during the day. They uprooted a tree from a nearby orchard and replanted it just on the outskirts of a local farm. They wrote up a note from his "grandmother" and sealed it. A courier found Issac and told him this letter was found recently and it told of an apple tree that made you your brain absorb more information than anywhere else in the country.

He set off and found the tree. He sat there every day studying his books and shit, time passed and the placebo effect took place. He actually believed he was smarter than ever. The fool.
Then one day an apple fell from the tree and landed on his loaf.

This made him ponder why the hell things like that happened and then he discovered gravity, wrote a book and moved away to Hollywood. His neighbors' ploy had worked and Issac was gone.

Qualified professional answer: Apple tree. There's no good stories about pears.

    Dear Cal,

I have always secretly believed that I am a camel stuck in a man's body.  I secretly believe this because when I mention in and the fact I'm considering surgically adding a hump, everyone says I'm bat shit crazy and then sit at the far end of the table.  However, if I instead believed I was a woman trapped in a man's body, that would be totally legit, everyone would have to use my "woman" name or be a bigot, and might even raise a fund for me to mutilate my outie into an innie.

So, I guess my question is this.  Which is more resistant to pests, apple trees or pear trees?
