  1. For starters, what class are you playing? That will somewhat dictate your most effective playstyle. It also has an impact on your armor options. What difficulty are you on? We'll get you sorted.
  2. And let be known that today, was a good day, for a lost soul has returned to the clutch.
  3. Not to turn this into a bee thread but... two motorcycle stories. Riding along *la la la la* bam, stung on the arm. Mind you I'm wearing a long sleeve leather coat. Bees can't sting through leather... it must be inside my jacket... The folks at the intersection must have been wondering why the guy on the bike was frantically beating himself. Oh yeah, it was an extremely busy multi-lane road with nowhere safe for me to pull off. That was fun. Riding along *la la la la* wife on the back, headed out for breakfast. Notice a little something out the bottom of my eye, inside my helmet, can't really see it though. At a stop sign I reached in and flicked it out fully expecting a piece of fuzz or string to come out... nope... shiny blue wasp. Awesome.
  4. Oh for fuck's sake. The point of your posts isn't always as easy to understand as maybe you think it is Sennex. I'm still at a complete loss as to why those pictures needed to be brought into this discussion. You had, HAD, to know they would inflame the situation. Then you call Datte a fucking idiot for overreacting. Please. If it's clear that Datte didn't get the meaning of your post, then come back and explain it more clearly and back off the insults.
  5. The story of how I met my wife is almost as good. A mutual friend brought her over to my place and got us both shit-faced. Umm.. yeah I guess that's about it.
  6. Any idea where this fear of such a benign creature comes from? My dad was bit by a water snake. It latched onto his big toe and wouldn't let go as he kicked and screamed. I was too young to remember, but this is what I'm told. It was underneath an inflatable raft that my mom and I were in; he was pushing us out from shore and... snap. Life would never be the same.
  7. I don't have any that I'm aware of yet, but my father is deathly afraid of snakes. At the sight of a harmless garter snake, he loses all capacity for rational thought, screeches like a girl, and runs away.
  8. All I know about them is I like the Easter Egg song on Call of the Dead.
  9. Wow, just wow, that's incredible. Thank you for sharing your tale. Now for the questions: -What did her mother think of all this? Are they still in contact? -Did you court her in Arabic, or did she speak English? -Where did you fly to after handing your phone to the Chechnyan? The USA and then return to Lebanon to finish out your contract? -While you completed your contract, did you have fear of reprisal? -What move did you use to get her out on that first date, it must have been Shephard smooth. -That is seriously novel material, especially being non-fiction, honestly, I think you could sell your story. -Now I really want to a picture of this Arabian Princess wife of yours. Preferably one without you in it, screwing it up.
  10. Fraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace, so glad to see you again John!!! <3
  11. I wasn't referring to Tebow with respect to what he does (or doesn't do) on the field. There are a lot of people who just hate/strongly dislike him because he mentions God/Jesus when doing interviews. This, I think, is an indictment on the haters, not on how Tim chooses to express his faith.
  12. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, Mike is here! Figures a math problem brought you out of the woodwork. lol
  13. It's like the Tim Tebow phenomenon, people resent him because he's "in your face" with his religion, despite the fact that by all accounts he's genuinely a really, really good dude. How fucked up is that. You see, the problem isn't with Tim Tebow, the resentment comes from the insecurities of the people who hate him. I submit that most (very deliberate choice of the word most, i.e., not _all_) people who really have a hair across their ass for bronies, do so out of resentment. They resent that someone else has something that they're really into, resent that someone is part of a sub-culture that they know nothing about, resent that someone has this special thing that makes them happy. On the part of the bronies, they probably have a tendency to be overly enthusiastic as a defense mechanism for liking a "little girls" show. But that's really kind of irrelevant. Whether or not they're 'in your face with it', this is the internet, don't read their posts.
  14. This could be a problem... O,O
  15. I'm gonna guess this thread hasn't exactly gone the way Diddums expected. I think the point was: Bronies > It's okay to come out of the closet, we won't judge you. Non-bronies > Play nice and be accepting of things you don't 'get'.
  16. Listens for stampede...
  17. Much improved, very nice.
  18. $250 though, kinda steep.
  19. The link I posted to the HDFury 3 will decode the HDMI signal and let you output it to whatever you want. problem sorted
  20. Add: HDMI to component adapters only work for unprotected HDMI signals. //I'm not an expert, just been reading about it the past 20 minutes or so.
  21. http://www.hdfury.com/products/hdfuryiii-specs/ I've just been reading up on this Dave, and HDMI is not all the same. It often comes with built in HDCP copy protection which prevents unapproved devices (i.e., recording devices) from deciphering the encrypted signal.
  22. Does it really matter once youtube is done crushing it? Do people actually stream YT in 1080p?
  23. Of course you can use an HD PVR, you'll just need and HDMI to Component adapter or get a newer PVR with an HDMI input.
  24. You're amazing.
