  1. Wooohoooo. My Astros work with both systems; I bet others do as well.
  2. It was great then and still great now lol
  3. It's 4 player co-op versus 10 waves of enemies with objectives to complete during waves 3, 6, and 10. Then there is a final extraction wave where you hold out for 2 minutes before your shuttle comes to pick you up. Completing missions gets you XP to level up and credits to buy 'packs' in the store. You can also buy packs with real $ but it's not necessary at all; I've never spent a dime on multiplayer. The multiplayer dlc is free, but not the campaign dlc. There are four difficulty levels, bronze, silver, gold, platinum with a nice progression. You could hop into bronze and within a few games be contributing. Each level of difficulty is roughly twice as hard with twice the reward. There is a shit ton of weapons and characters to choose from, too many to list. You rank up your powers with skill points you earn from gaining character levels. Max level is 20 and it doesn't take long to get there. Each character as 5 powers. We'll call them powers 1 through 5. Power 4 is always passive bonuses to weapon damage, power damage, and weight capacity. Power 5 is always bonus to health and shields or melee. Powers 1 to 3 form a unique set of abilities for each character. No two characters have the same combination of powers 1 to 3, which is what makes them all so unique. It's in over the shoulder shooter much like Uncharted. The only time you go into first person is when firing a sniper rifle. It's amazing fun; the most fun multiplayer game I've ever played, hands down, no contest. You can't even see Destiny in the rear-view mirror. Maybe, on the distant horizon, you can Bad Company 2 somewhere back there, but this game is definitely way out in front on my list of multiplayer favorites. There is no need whatsoever to play the campaigns first. Lepercolony has played 700 hours of multiplayer and still doesn't know dick about the story.
  4. Omg that was terrific, bravo
  5. What is wrong with your brain?
  6. RIP Mr. King. I didn't realize he had been ill
  7. Not sure what I've got for map packs though, what do you and bees have?
  8. I do, giddy up motherfucker
  9. Trust me, what you want is a flamer, it's the most overpowered power in the game. It poops all over even the best guns in terms of damage output. And the Jug doesn't need guns to do his thing. He draws aggro so his teammates can operate more freely. The Jug can't be sync killed and his heavy melee drains enemy defenses while refilling his shields. Not that high level guns are bad, no no, they're quite good!
  10. Not before HoW Ryan, especially with new people to play ME3 with. It has been awesome playing with Nev, Hector, and Matt this past week.
  11. Or rather, once you get a character with a flamer or a geth juggernaut.
  12. Good games tonight boys, with some truly classic moments!
  13. How do you play the Batarian Sentinel? I still haven't found a build that feels right.
  14. I think birthdays are dumb too. I mean, I didn't do anything special that day. If anything, I should send a card to my mom saying thanks for pushing a watermelon through a hole the size if a golf ball.
  15. Jason's build philosophy: Jason's Shorthand: Adept Soldier Engineer Sentinel Human - Jason's Build Infiltrator Vanguard Human - Jason's Build
  16. Same here dude
  17. Whoa, glad your OK bud, here's to a speedy recovery. *raises coffee mug*
  18. Quick, everyone onto Mass Effect before you're tempted to do something productive with your time!
  19. So he took the cash instead of the 1911 then... If money were no object, would Sig still be your brand of choice?
  20. Bonus accuracy, damage, rate of fire, and movement speed, but it reduces your shields by 50%.
  21. Yeah, he's a beast Sniper. Have you tried Hunter Mode with him?
  22. I'll be on between then and 9 most likely.
