Yeah, they are pretty gigantic. The melee locks on, so make sure the target is highlighted before you swing. He also does a three short melee combo that ends in a brutal uppercut. Keep at it; I find him to be the most fun character in the game. (I assume you're talking about the Krogan Warlord, not the regular Krogan Sentinel.)

There are three reason to promote, none of which are a big deal. 1) Promoting gives you a war asset for the single player campaign. 2) It resets your powers, so you can try different builds. (You can also use a power reset card, but your don't get those that often.) 3) If you want to complete the N7 Mastery challenge which will give you a couple cool banners and is a requirement for completing the Mass Effect Mastery challenge which is how you get the Best of the Best banner.

I've already put 600 hours into the multiplayer alone, but with fresh blood to play with, I can see another 100 to 200 easy. With so many characters, builds, and weapons it never seems to get old.

Imagine what would happen on say Firebase Glacier, if you had two Justicars pop a bubble on either side if the upstairs room and you had two other characters who could detonate biotic explosions. Madness I tell, madness. Perhaps even my dream of an all Volus squad could come true. Oh, and we could do all Vorcha and all Krogan. OMG four Krogan Warlords versus the Geth!

There are a lot of games that interest or even excite me, but the only one that can't come soon enough for my liking is the next Mass Effect game. I love the campaign, but what really has me chomping at the bit is the multiplayer. I have to admit though, that in my heart if hearts, I think they're going to fuck it up. -

Nev, you're brilliant man, that's one for the ages. Vgon - You can go to the personal progress reports sub-forum and start one of your own. Most of us have a thread of our own where we talk about our gaming progress as well as things going on in our lives. It's a way for us to get to know you better. Go look at few and you'll see what they're all about. Mine is the Owl's Nest one. First page as a little Bio about me and list of games I've played. Mostly though, just post, hop into the discussions, start discussions of your own and soon you'll be part of the family. You may get confused at first because we switch back and forth between using people's real names and screen names, but you'll get it sorted quick enough. What Nev said. What types of games do you enjoy, what's your favorite, what systems have you played? My own gaming journey started with the Atari 2600 too many years ago. Currently I'm active on PS3 and PS4. I love all sorts of games, though I've never gotten into driving games or sports game. My all time favorites are Heavy Rain, Demon's Souls and Dark Souls.
