Does anyone know why theater mode was removed? I had no idea they were omitting it for Ghosts and it's a real shame because I don't have any capture hardware and it's made looking out for hackers pretty tricky. I'm on PC so I usually swear by such a function. Also why hasn't Elite been updated - have they canned that also? I'm not too bothered about this but it just seems along with theater, a step backwards from what we've seen in recent years.

After the update yesterday, the game asked me if I wanted to revert to the game's recommended optimisation settings, so I clicked OK and when I went in to the menu; everything was set to low instead of extra! Jeez, I didn't even know 640x480 existed anymore

I am currently playing Kill Confirmed, Cranked, Blitz and Domination on PC and it seems pretty hit and miss depending on the map and the mode. Cranked seems a bit iffy but the mode is extremely chaotic at the best of times so that doesn't surprise me! I haven't seen the patch notes yet but DOM seemed slightly better yesterday along with KC but I don't know if this is patch-related or just being my luck was better with the spawns!

The 360 version is pretty much flawless isn't it? If I were you, I'd hop on now as it's absolutely brilliant so far! I'm on PC and we definitely needed a patch pronto and it is looking better already.

If EA think they can topple Call of Duty then they are pretty damn deluded! I agree with TigerBurge that they should release it in a window that is not riddled with competition. The late spring/early summer is usually a quiet time for games anyway with more focus on trade shows and the Christmas launches. EA will never win and even with a fully functional and perfectly working game; they will still fall short by a country mile in my opinion. I hate what EA have done to their FPS franchises; they are all rushed, broken and in Medal of Honor's case; soulless. The games are non-comparable though albeit being in the same genre I feel and Call of Duty is more user friendly and enjoyable rather than being more vast and 'realistic'. If EA want to keep self-competing, they are wasting their time as nothing will get close that they can offer.

I haven't seem the 96th minute penalty for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge but apparently it's an outrageous decision! Mourinho retains his unbeaten home Premier League record but very controversially. Liverpool looking pretty decent as are the impressive Southampton.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a half decent pair of trainers? I usually opt for KSwiss but any other brands and styles of footwear would be most welcome. Also, what do you guys usually wear casually?

Anyone else finding the spawns a bit irritating? I swear I either get placed way away from the action or far too close to the mix. It seems worse on some maps than others but it's particularly bad on the likes of Siege. Nothing an update can't cure mind...

That's right; Monty Moore! I live two doors down from his brother Peter but Monty is AWOL at the minute apparently. I don't know what his user name is but he said he was on here although I can't locate him. I'm sure he'll be back on soon once he's back in the country......and if they let him back in lol!

Ah that's a bugger; I am not a GT fan but was looking for a decent racer for the PS4 and I'm surprised that they have opted to keep it on the existing system. I read somewhere that GT5 took 6 years to finish and even then it wasn't entirely complete on full release? If that's the case, I'm sure they will try and get their moneys worth and milk it to the max. With #Driveclub pegged back by Ubisoft; I don't know what to get now... -

I hope SnD returns; I'd happily see Infected removed if one playlist has to be sacrificed. There was 56 players on PC in the Infected lobby earlier so I can't really see it holding out albeit being IW's precious creation. I imagine it is pretty sparse on console also although it attracted a few on MW3 in its time. Blitz is a blast at the minute especially if everyone is on-song and actually playing the objective instead of camping on the defence portal. Cranked is fast and furious and I'm going to try SnR over the weekend. I still can't believe TDM is the most played when you have KC which is much more enjoyable and the points are greater. The classic mode just feels a bit bland and it's not like picking up tags is all that exhausting for the casual player who isn't objectively focused.

Portal for £1.74 and Portal 2 for £3.74 is remarkable value! Also Total War: Rome II is £22.49 until Monday. If anyone sees any good offerings on Steam; we'll throw them in this thread if anyone is interested...

Ranking up seems much slower on Ghosts than in BO2 so I will be looking to maximise the Double XP weekend by playing the modes that offer the most points. I've been playing Kill Confirmed quite a bit which seems to pay well but is there any other decent modes that offer a good chunk of XP?

Ghosts is running reasonably on my PC but even on the 'Extra' optimisation settings; the game looks pretty rough - I would actually say Black Ops 2 looked better with a nice colour palette and smoother textures.

What is everyone using as their current primary weapon? I barely used AR's in BO2 but the Ghosts ones seemed much more appealing. I started with the SC-2010 but have moved on to the Remington R5. I have plenty of squad points in the bank so I will look to experiment using as many guns as possible across the classes but so far I'm happy with the Remi. Just played my first game on Flooded and that map is hideous! Strikezone seems pretty chaotic too with the central point pure carnage. Lobbed a Sentry Gun in the mix on Kill Confirmed and earned about 15 kills from it! I checked out Free Fall in Squads playing Domination and it's pretty bad and unbalanced.

I think I prefer the standard UAV to the SAT COM; I still haven't quite worked out all the ins and outs of the new killstreak but with the classic UAV, you knew where you stood with it. Does anyone have any idea of how the SAT COM actually works in various situations? Thanks guys

Haha! Well I'm Oxford United - they are the true meaning of garbage but for some reason we are second in League 2 at the minute:-0 2 points off the top and 3pts off the bottom half of the table it is that tight.

Has anyone played on the DLC map Free Fall yet? I haven't had it come up once on my rotation yet - looks a bit horrible though!
