I've done the CompTIA stuff. It's very basic and more of just a memory game. Fairly interesting, but mostly about RAID levels and UEFI BIOS that sort of thing, nothing too taxing. I was 21 when I decided I wanted to work in Telecomms and took a massive pay cut to work for BT. I Started on standard telephony stuff and moved up to fibre optics and networking. From there I jumped over to supporting hardware in a datacentre, and from there jumped to supporting storage arrays nationally (still at BT). Throughout my whole career, the thing that gets me through is logical problem solving and the ability to get shit done. In my last interview I said I knew next to fuck all about this role, but my best skills are transferable and I'll pick it up quickly. I joined in March and I'm now supporting callouts for national level incidents (eeeek) and doing some complex shit. Have a look on Amazon for some used books, they are cheap as fuck (usually an older edition) but pretty much everything is the same. CCNA is another good qualification, but again no measure of a useful network engineer (I've worked with some exceptionally stupid people with CCNA I wouldn't let them reset my home hub.)

I'm a drummer in a rock covers band, been playing drums for about 5 years now. Originally I played keyboard, been tinkering on my new Roland Fa08 88 key Synth. I'll post up some music shit when I finally get round to getting it recorded.

Might as well weigh in with my review. Blackout is good ish. The graphics are dogshit and washed out, but the game itself is playable and fun can be had. I got a win after maybe 5 or 6 games? So far so good. I disagree about this being unlike CODs of old. It's as COD as it gets. Fast, frantic and chock full of bullshit (stick with me here). There have been times where by a huge margin, I've been behind cover and died, or I've met a situation that I felt I should/could have come out on top and haven't. I've seen killcams that would make the baby Jesus cry. You have to accept that there are certain situations that favour a particle player, sometimes it's you sometimes it's FUCK YOU YOU FUCKING..... NO WAY.... NO FUCKIN *ahem* the other guy. The nature of the game being so fast makes it worse, and certain styles of play may make it worse. The server tick rate has been increased, so it should improve a bit , but only as much as it always was. If you expected *anything* else you were deluded. Try hards. I hate diamond camo, clown skin, dabbing emoted fucking bellends. I don't have the reactions of a 12 year old and I'm a good casual player. Please stop putting me up against next years e-sports winners, especially when I'm spawn trapped against a non-stop barrage of fucking AI killstreaks, not fun, not fun at all. Final thought is that I wouldn't own this game if it weren't for Alex, he bought it, I stole it. I wouldn't buy it, it's just not different enough for me. AAA price and they saved a fortune not including a campaign.

I've had the same issue with the replacement pads. Using Crispys patented card shims, I've fixed it and tested it. It just gives it a bit of extra lift as the trigger doesn't quite contact the pad at the right spot. Both triggers now give 100% range. Did you PM me your address? I'll get it posted back to you this week

has the server been reset for the newer version?

I mentioned to someone that although an OK game, this is still full of typical COD bullshit. The Killcams are an embarrassment to the programmers. Jumping with a weapon should make it so inaccurate it isn't even usable. Last time I checked, jumping up and down was not a recognised tactic in the army.

I've already seen some complete howlers on kill cams. Like not even close but counting as kills.

Make no mistake, Unless you do your homework, this is every bit as complex. I'd prefer to do the way it was intended though.

Also, the Riven "cheese" is actually pretty hard to do, and requires pretty good timing. We were getting good, but ran out of time. Very enjoyable though.

@cyberninja2601 I know Lee always calls out poor behavior, so I hope it's just an isolated incident with a very small percentage of the group. We have a large clan, but I very rarely run with more than 10 or 12 of them, lord knows what the rest of the clan get up to..... If it's something you want addressing reach out we'll get it sorted, I hate people feeling bad over a game. I can't recommend @Plumbers Crack & Co. highly enough, they are hardcore casual gamers if that is such a thing. I'm pretty high light level if you want pulling through anything, hit me up. If you think you can't jump, try running with @technohamster. Nothing funnier than hearing him lose his shit trying to do an ascendant challenge.

One of the things holding me back is that WW2 didn't really live up to its cost. Not enough game time to justify buying it. Perhaps Alaex will want to get it with his birthday money

Alex is getting into mods and stuff on minecraft. Might be nice to have a cheap server pin a power month basis. But we need an active player base or it may as well be single player. Via the FG App

Cropped up on the BLOPS game thread, but I thought I'd split it out. Personally I favour digital because I have 2 PS4 systems that use the same license at the same time, effectively I can buy 2 copies for the price of one. Also I don't have to lean forward and remove a disc (very hard work). And there is no chance of loss/damage. What are your thoughts?

Just dropped Queenbreaker from Ikora! Ironically as I was grinding out the Sleeper Quest. Still, puts less pressure on getting it now.....
