Every day this week I have seen some really bad accidents on my way to work. This morning one happened in front of me. It happened at a T intersection, heading east, into the morning sun. There is a large hill just west, and the intersection is at the bottom of the hill. There are pretty massive oaks all over the road until you hit the intersection. It is a horrible place that eats cars like some giant mythic beast. Just driving through it, a feeling will come over you where you reflect on life and count the seconds until you are free of it all. Redneck Joe decided to just pull out onto the County Road and head east with the rest of us. He didn't pay attention to the old man in the faded blue pickup, or the young black kid in the Corolla, or the pile of cars behind them, that were all following way to close because the old man was driving slow. Old Blue pickup slammed into Redneck Joe, and then the Corolla rear ended the pickup, and then a Sewer truck hit the Corolla. By that time, all the tailgaters were able to stop or swerve. When I got out of my car, I saw that the back end of the rednecks truck had jumped up and was in the windshield of Old Blue. The old guy wasn't talking, or moving. I am pretty sure the black kid will have some sort of permanent injury. We couldn't get him to talk, but he was crying and trying to move, so we stopped him as best we could. Luckily for everyone, there is a fire station about a mile up the road in Marlow. They got their pretty quick, while the rest of us put out flares and were trying to keep traffic moving. So I say all that to say this. Most of us here are old hands at driving, to the point that I don't doubt most of us get tunnel vision and fire up the old auto-pilot on the way to and from work. I know I do. Knock that shit off. Pay attention and slow down, etc...... You young guys just now getting your license and shit. Its more impressive if you can reach the age of 25 without ever getting into an accident or having a speeding ticket, than it is to get some place in record time while you try to impress your jackass friends (I say jackass, as we all have jackass friends) Just flipping be safe out there

I like the hung jury, but the Tuonela with FireFly is amazing I will be trying out the Boolean Gemini tonight though. I am not sold on the Fabian Strategy yet, sadly. It is fun to use, but body shots for 74-84 depending on range is pretty shitty IMO

I think swapping Invective for Hereafter will be what I do on that phase now. Going to work for the Fabian Strategy next. 1 weapon bounty, and I will be able to start the quest.

I can't remember the name of the damage buff that night stalkers get, but it is supposed to be really awesome for Warpriest. As well as the Daughters. It also stacks with Weapons of Light, but not the Sunbreaker damage buff

Our experiences were radically different. Every death, that wasn't because of jumping, was all of a sudden, there wasn't ever a point where I was "sorta" damaged, or kinda okay. It was continually 100% -> 0% health. Red Death doesn't magically stop 100% damage from killing me in one shot. However, me, being able to spam grenades, and hammers faster (or even bubbles), can keep all of us alive longer.

IDK man, the amount of super spamming you could do in there would be insane.

It's the first time that threshold has been crossed by a G7 economy.1 But that's less interesting than what just happened in the U.S. To appreciate what's going on there, you need to understand the capacity factor. That's the percentage of a power plant's maximum potential that's actually achieved over time. Consider a solar project. The sun doesn't shine at night and, even during the day, varies in brightness with the weather and the seasons. So a project that can crank out 100 megawatt hours of electricity during the sunniest part of the day might produce just 20 percent of that when averaged out over a year. That gives it a 20 percent capacity factor. One of the major strengths of fossil fuel power plants is that they can command very high and predictable capacity factors. The average U.S. natural gas plant, for example, might produce about 70 percent of its potential (falling short of 100 percent because of seasonal demand and maintenance). But that's what's changing, and it's a big deal. For the first time, widespread adoption of renewables is effectively lowering the capacity factor for fossil fuels. That's because once a solar or wind project is built, the marginal cost of the electricity it produces is pretty much zero—free electricity—while coal and gas plants require more fuel for every new watt produced. If you're a power company with a choice, you choose the free stuff every time. It’s a self-reinforcing cycle. As more renewables are installed, coal and natural gas plants are used less. As coal and gas are used less, the cost of using them to generate electricity goes up. As the cost of coal and gas power rises, more renewables will be installed. The virtuous cycle has begun. But production has been rising at an exponential rate, and those two energy sources are now big enough to influence when coal and natural gas plants are kept running, according to BNEF.2 There are two reasons this shift in capacity factors is important. First, it's yet another sign of the rising disruptive force of renewable energy in power markets. It's impossible to brush aside renewables in the U.S. in the same way it might have been just a few years ago. "Renewables are really becoming cost-competitive, and they're competing more directly with fossil fuels," said BNEF analyst Luke Mills. "We're seeing the utilization rate of fossil fuels wear away." Second, the shift illustrates a serious new risk for power companies planning to invest in coal or natural-gas plants. Historically, a high capacity factor has been a fixed input in the cost calculation. But now anyone contemplating a billion-dollar power plant with an anticipated lifespan of decades must consider the possibility that as time goes on, the plant will be used less than when its doors first open. Plants designed to come online only during the highest demand of the year, known as peaker plants, play a smaller role. In either case, the end result is that coal-fired and gas-fired electricity is becoming more expensive and the profits less predictable. The opposite is true of wind and solar, as well as new battery systems that can be paired with renewables to replace some peaker plants. Wind power, including U.S. subsidies, became the cheapest electricity in the U.S. for the first time last year4, according to BNEF. Solar power is a bit further behind, but the costs are dropping rapidly, especially those associated with financing a new project. Yea, I am heavily looking at Red Death now. Although, if I go with Sunbreaker more often, I will most likely skip Red Death and go with Bad Juju. Having HoS available more often would be pretty nice. It is going to be a toss up for sure, Health or Super But as long as I got Matt there to revive me, I think Super will win out. HoS, grenades and sun spots are just way to helpful

I used the shit out of Invective on the relay. The Ammo refill is pretty nice. I can see why they got rid of Icebreaker now. On the relay alone, scrounging for ammo on the way back was nerve wracking. If you could just regen it for hits on that boomer and the wizards, it would be so much easier.

IDK about you guys, but I learned a lot last night. I need to rethink all of my gear, my spec, and my play-style. Also, Defender isn't nearly needed as much as I thought it would be. Hammer of Sol demo's the wizards in the relay, so next time I think Tommy and I should go on different rotations, so we are not stacking our abilities. I hope folks watching the stream had as much fun as the rest of us did during the jumping puzzles

Solar is awesome. With the current breakthroughs using carbon tubes, to get cells to reach 40% efficiency, it demolishes most every energy generation out there except nuclear. And it beats nuclear, because no waste byproducts. Couple some Barrell style wind generators, and BAM! power regardless of weather conditions. A large number of European countries are taking oil and coal generators off line permanently these days because of the solar farms they have
