Chris was talking about the Grasp of Marlok(sp) last night, and he mentioned drops being in all the old strikes. Is there a list somewhere, and does anyone want to start farming them? Also, I want to start tooling around in PoE again if anyone is interested. I want to start stockpiling that 5k glimmer shard, as well as more weapon parts.

yea, I started up Rammstein after giving it a go. Oh man, Stretch, I didnt even think about that one. But it totally fits, and there should be Destiny Live Action commercial with it.

IDK, I hope it will be good, but Abrams various comments about the series and his own level of knowledge and experience worry me. The dude has a horrible track record for making steaming piles of shit. Sorry, didn't know if you knew the math involved. Also, PVE works the same way. It appears as if it doesn't because mobs have a higher HP range.

Light is directly responsible for how strong you are. If you haven't realized that by now, then I am honestly shocked; it is how its been in this game since Day 1. Its why they put "recommended light level' on the raid, nightfall, and heroic. Regardless of all that, here is the math that determines how well you do in the game when attacking any target The math that determines how much damage you do, versus the enemies damage reduction of your target, is the same in PVE as in PVP. For every 25 light you have above your target, and its weapons, you enjoy a %5 reduction in damage. This is in addition to another %5 auto added for being different light levels. Example: Here is how it breaks down: level 40 guardian, Light level 305, being attacked by a level whatever, light level 170 character (305-170)/25*5%+5% = 32% 305 light level defender subtract 170 for attacker divided by 25 multiplied by 5 and then add in the last 5 for the auto-penalty this equals 32% reduction in damage. Or if you prefer, if you hit for 100 points of damage, the defender only ends up taking 68 points. NOTE: This does not take into account Critical hit bonuses. Only damage reduction per bullet hitting a target. Burst weapons are still reduced but each bullet quickly adds up.

This statement makes zero sense, I mean honestly think about it. Crucible: Removes level adjustments. Everyone is the same level, everyone has 200 hit points, and the damage curve is set to zero. Iron Banner: Level Adjustments in full effect. All adjustments are in place, no one is equal unless they have the exact same armor, weapons, and spec. Thats the entire point of the Iron Banner. Nothing is fair in the Iron banner, because its very purpose and goal is to be Crucible hard mode. (which is even backed up in the games lore) What this literally means is that if you are level 10, and you enter Iron Banner, you are at a disadvantage against anyone that is level 11+ How is Iron Banner Easy mode again? How is NOT leveling the playing field easier for everyone? What incentive do lower level people have to play in the Iron Banner again? Gear drops. That is the only incentive there is to play in Iron Banner. Oh wait, no one is getting gear drops (Which is the point of this whole thread)........

Yea, pretty much. I have yet to see someone in the Banner that wasn't 290+ Light level. Whereas before, there were people in the 20's in it. IB only penalizes people for not being at the top of the game, which is why I laugh at Dave's statement. Back to the point of my original post though. Bungie stated they were increasing drop rates for IB participants. Sadly, they appeared to have lied. The number of threads on Bungies forums, Reddit, and even facebook posts all point to the fact that no one is getting anything on the level that we used to.

It is just not worth the headache. I've gotten maybe 2 motes of light. I am 150 points outside of rank 3. In the old IB I would be swimming in engrams right now. Are you guys having nay luck this go round? No one on Reddit appears to be having any luck either, so I am hoping it is just the vocal minority.

This is my problem as well My Answering Chord is 296, the rest of my gear is in the 280's I was spamming that 305 Fusion Rifle from the Warpriest relay at the end there.
