You can transfer normal game shaders and emblems, so I assume that you can do IB as well Hell, you can buy non-class gear for an alt and then bank it. (I bought a Hunter set with my Warlock)

Yea, I tend to play Peaceful or Easy as well with my son. He doens't like the monsters That being said, any server I manage will have a strict "Mob Griefing OFF policy"; Unless we are doing an RPG game pack, in which case I would honestly vote for a Normal -> Hard mode server.

Is there a way to "pad" your Faction gains in the IB? Like buy a ton of crap this time around, and then when it next happens, you just spam "Ether Seeds (Insert random item name here)" and you climb the faction rank faster?

No, go nuts At the very least it helps me figure out what you guys want to see in a modpack. I already know what Dave wants; but if you guys can test out other modpacks, and let me know what mods in them you have fun with, it will help me build something

Looking into it more, the guy that is making it is a putz. Basically he is just tossing Mods into the server and seeing if it runs. I have a better idea for how to handle this and am going to start working on it tomorrow.

I have yet to get a kill from the Mark of the Devourer in PVP That being said, Thorn against Crota is actually a really good tactic from what all I have read. The dot keeps his shields down

Guys Go here: http://www.atlauncher.com/downloads Install the AT Launcher Under Packs, look for Byte Size Install it with all optional mods added (I didn't do this, but there were like 2-3 that I didn't install, I will get a better list later) Let me know what you think of that one. I am doing some more testing now for stability And then Go grab the Technic Launcher here: http://technicpack.net/ And install Tekkit, and let me know what you think. (Oddly enough, it has everything we are looking for)

So todays mission is to check out a bunch of different mod packs and try to sort out what is best. I am starting with FTB: Blast Off - Nope, this shit was horribad Agrarian Skies - Won't launch AT Launcher: Resonant Rise - Maybe, but would have to choose mods carefully as this thing will blow up easily CrackPack Tekkit: Hexx: Supercharge Modded Civilization Hexxit Tekkit Big Dig - Maybe, but would have to disable three mods if we did. ComputerCraft, ICBM, and Dimension doors EDIT: Two things. Would you guys be okay with my son playing on the server? Would you guys be okay with playing in an older version of Minecraft, if it met all of our needs? (Not saying that we will, but just want to explore all possibilities)
