  1. I mean what the fuck, they might as well not even fucking have the rule to begin with!!! And where's Jack Wilshere? So they've got 5 "home grown" players and only 3 of them are actually British, excellent! Right i'm gona wait till they put all the team out and do one big post on this cuz i ain't no post whore *looks up* well, maybe a little
  2. How is Bendtner and Szczesny home grown? ARSENAL Player (Home Grown): Mikel Arteta (No), Nicklas Bendtner (Yes), Santi Cazorla (No), Abou Diaby (No), Lukasz Fabianski (No), Mathieu Flamini, Kieran Gibbs (Yes), Olivier Giroud (No), Laurent Koscielny (No), Per Mertesacker (No), Ignacio Monreal (No), Mesut Ozil (No), Park Chu-young (No), Lukas Podolski (No), Aaron Ramsey (Yes), Tomas Rosicky (No), Bacary Sagna (No), Wojciech Szczesny (Yes), Thomas Vermaelen (No), Emiliano Viviano (No), Theo Walcott (Yes).
  3. PREMIER LEAGUE SQUADS The 20 Premier League clubs have submitted their 25-man squads for this season, with no more than 17 players who do not fulfil the Home Grown Player criteria. The rest of the squad must be Home Grown. A Home Grown player is defined as one who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21). We will drop the submitted squads into Sportsday throughout the day.
  4. Saw that video yesterday, it's a shame cuz they're all obviously good friends and by the sounds of it they tried to help but for them this is a job and it's how the make their money. They need to be a unit, who knows he might even be back. I think they did right bring out the video and like you say no matter what you do people will always find a way to moan or bitch about something, that's the youtube way.
  5. I think this might be my favourite post ever!
  6. Good plan my man!
  7. Yeah now he looks like Shrek meets Harry Potter lol but we might miss him for these two qualifiers, hopefully not though. Here's another article, on the first day of the new season, teams selected fewer English players than ever before! http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2013/aug/19/english-talent-premier-league-importing The problem is that the numbers go down every year, we do have rules in which means you have to have a certain amount of British players in your squad but they don't have to play. So basically the rule is pointless! I saw this coming years ago, the first major instance was when Arsenal played in the champions league and didn't field a single British player! So this club that's representing England in Euro doesn't have a single British player playing? This is now happening everywhere expect there's normally a couple of home grown talent. This is one reason why i'm quite proud to support utd, we put a lot into youth development and the youngsters that come through generally get in with a shout at getting a place. I also like the fact that when we do buy we do buy a lot of British players, in the last few seasons we've bought Phil Jone Chris Smalling Ashley Young Wilfried Zaha Nick Powell And we've promoted these players to the first squad Larnell Cole Jesse Lingard Michael Keane Ben Amos Now i'm not being all like utd are amazing and everyone else sucks, i just don't know the ins and outs of other teams. Basically something needs to happen and it needs to happen fast because i feel we're going to start dropping behind in Europe (clubs) when we were so dominant a few years ago. In 2008 3 of the 4 teams in the semi final of the champions league were English, now this year we can't even get a team into the quarter finals for the first time since 1996! So basically, we're not using home grown talent and we're still going no where. Football in this country is on the decline, club and country. Hopefully Friday will prove me wrong but then it is Moldova (no offence)
  8. You're close to Hommerton Hospital? Cuz i live just around the corner lol It was well misty this morning on the way to work, like something out of a horror film
  9. I read an interview with Jamie Oliver the other day, he'd been doing a show about how people who don't earn a lot can still eat healthy. He began by sayin that he used to feel sorry for people because crap food is generally cheaper than fresh produce. He then said he was disgusted when he went to these people's houses because they ate like shit but yet all had 50" 3d tvs and wore brand clothing. Priorities obviously isn't a known word for to some people. I think this goes hand in hand with how children are brought up. People's priorities are wrong and unfortunately some people's priority list doesn't even include their children. As I'm not a father some may think I don't have a right to say how someone should raise their child but the way I see it is you need a balance. You must be strict with them and show them the rights and wrongs of life and tell them to treat others how you'd want to be treated in return. But at the same time you have to let them find out life for themselves, don't give them everything on a plate. Basically the idea's simple but putting it in to practice takes hard work. I'm rabbiting now
  10. I've got a single player game i play most nights by myself, i wonder if you can guess what it is? Actually sometimes i even play in the morning
  11. Yeah yeah Gary, excuses excuses lol I know exactly what you mean though, i've flicked onto mtv and that's nonsense has been on. It's amazing how that is life for some people, those people will never work a day in their life!
  12. I think the main problem that we have in England is that kids are having kids, if they haven't learnt manners themselves then how can pass it on to their children.
  13. How can you run when your arms and legs are all tied up?
  14. Completely agree! My school life was exactly the same as Dave's, it's all about respect at the end. I'm much happier being nice to people anyway, so works for me. I've heard kids scream at their parents in the street, to the point where everyone is embarrassed by the whole thing. This dude that i shared a house with at uni went nutty at his parents, he'd left something back where he used to live and asked his parents to post it to him. Instead of posting it, they drove down to give it to him and to take him out for lunch as a surprise. He went fuckin nutty at them. "what the fuck are you doing here?" "i told you to fuckin post it" "arggghhhh!!!" Lots of other noises and more ranting went on. I couldn't believe it, his parent did something so nice for him and that's the gratitude he shows. I felt ill listening to it and even watched his mums heart literally break as he ripped into them and they both stood their looking to the ground not saying a thing. They left pretty sharpish (i should mention it's a 3 hour drive from where they lived, so 6 in total) I soon told him what i thought of him after that and he had the nerve to try and defend himself. The only thing is he wasn't 15 or 16 he was 19 or 20 years old!!! Gah i'm angry writing this now
  15. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12016/8905484/premier-league-quota-needed-to-protect-english-talent-says-glenn-hoddle Says it all really, out of 41 players signed by the top seven sides, only two are eligible to play for England and one of them is Portuguese but born in London. Something needs to be done cuz it's not looking good.
  16. Now now ladies, handbags away please
  17. I also agree with Bee's but i think my video might be slightly different

  19. Don't listen to anyone on here, everyone sucks, barr me of course but i'm from Hackney and people who live there are quite obviously kewl! Mainly cuz we spell cool, kewl. Hope you enjoy your stay dude
  20. I don't understand how Mata has fallen out so much at Chelsea? Paris St-Germain hope to open talks with Chelsea's 25-year-old midfielder Juan Mata tonight with a view to a move to the French capital, report L'Equipe on their website.
  21. And it looks like we might be getting Herrera from Athletic Bilbao, who's apparently a decent player but haven't heard or seen much of him. The Fellaini deal is pretty much done (apparently) with Baines also coming in. Will be good competition for the rest of the team!
  22. damn you Euan!
