The opinions below do not reflect dogs that are bread for fighting, not been trained, been mistreated, abandoned, beaten, malnourished, etc… They might have an ax to grind with humanity and will most likely bite the shit out of you with no provocation. The Pit bulls being dangerous discussion infuriates me so I set out on a quest to discover why it is people get bit by dogs in general. I've consistently found it's because they're uneducated about how dogs behave, how dogs react to certain stimuli and are simply scared of dogs! They won’t admit it but it’s perfectly clear by their actions, uninformed monologues and the results. Harboring an ignorant irrational fear is a large part of why people are bitten by dogs period. Not just Pits. It raises a question for me. If you live in an area with venomous arachnids, venomous reptiles, snapping turtles in your swimming hole, bears, mountain lions, etc… do you not educate yourselves, friends, kids on the dangers and safety precautions to ensure survival? I’ll answer it myself: YES! So why are people not doing this with dogs!? Demon Pits from outer space spewed from hell by the devil himself with a blood lust for a humans unsuspecting innocence do not exist. In your head they might but don’t project the flawed operations of your mind onto dogs and pass them onto others. I’ll support my findings and opinion by letting you all know I’ve had or been around dogs since birth. I love dogs and am currently helping my Mom raise a Guiding Eyes for the Blind puppy. By going to the classes with her and the puppy I’ve had many Ahh HA! moments when they've explained behaviors I’ve witnessed but never recognized or had names for. It’s important information humans should take the initiative to learn about and pass on to others. Media and people need to stop with the dangerous breed play on fears propaganda and start educating people. Please!

The one thing that jumps out at me is beware of making images blurry, the subject look fake and creating different texture areas within an image. When you airbrush and/or use layers at different opacities over one another you start losing texture in the image. Different images have different textures going on in them depending on areas of exposure to light, if they’re color or B&W etc... A great way to combat this is by using selections and adding grain. (Filter/Texture/Grain) Again images are different some have large grain some small, you can fuck with the settings in PS. But by adding grain you can reintroduce texture back into an image by using a layer at like 2-15% depending on areas. Take her cheek for example. If you have 20 layers for her cheek and you have it looking good but there is no texture select the 20 cheek layers copy and merge the 20 layers into 1 and add grain to that over top of the 20 original layers. Then mess with that layers opacity to dial it in. If you mess around with it what I’m suggesting will become clear. Adding low opacity grain to areas you’ve airbrushed will bring the image back close to original. I’m sure you’ve seen a porn image or 5,000 where the girl is so airbrushed that she looks like silly putty. Over all I think they’re good!

Are you thinking of a puppy or a rescue? I'd be weary with a rescue and kids. I guess keep in mind that ALL dogs are different and have the potential to bite or hurt a kid. IMO with bigger dogs 2 things happen 1.) they die quicker 2.) They ruin your house more, or they're bigger so they create bigger messes/damage. I have an American Pit Bull Terrier. I know the media demonizes Pits but they are very good animals for family pets and protection. As for a Rottweiler I've debated this with a lot of people who think they are great dogs for home protection. IMO they are the biggest, dumbest and most violent dogs I've ever come across. Again all dogs are different but it's an incredible hulk sized dog with a peanut brain capacity. Based on growing up with and/or having raised them if I had to choose a big dog, with kids, and I'd get a puppy, I'd look for a German Sheppard or Doberman Pinscher. Smart, loyal, and not to be fucked with. Good luck!
