  1. Hmmm.

4k is lovely but in terms of gaming performance we won't be there for a long time still. Even triple 8gb 290x cards can't max the games at decent rates.

Personally I'd say 1440p and get a monitor with the price. Honestly once you see the picture on my monitor compared to anything 1080p you'll see why, it's simply on a whole different level.

I'll scribble something up later xxx

  2. Ohai :)

    Me again.

First off, what peripherals have you got? How much space have you got? What resolution do you want? You could get a 1080p monitor with eleven millionty refresh rates or a 1440p with a good refresh rate. You could also go 4k with a slower refresh rate but this will melt your face when editing. Imagine all your apps, all at once, on one massive screen.

Personally I've got a Samsung 32" 1440p screen that cost summat like £380 and it is just gorgeous. 32" might sound large but once your'e used to it, there's no going back.

When you say green, do you mean the colour or Nvidia?

We can build it at mine if you like. I'll just hafta push all my Lego aside :P

  3. No I'm being serious. I've had this problem a few times. I had to pair them with the mix amp again then once in the menu it wasn't recognising the Astros but my ear bud

No, it wasn't that. I unplugged the headset to Skype my ma and in doing so the PS4 defaulted to HDMI as the output. I changed it back but it wouldn't take, I ended up having to reboot the PS4 twice before it worked. This was definitely a PS4 issue rather than a headset one.

  4. Sorry I didn't join anything tonight, only had half an hour and was struggling to get any sound out of my ps4. I spent a fair whack of the weekly trying to sort it which meant I died a lot. I even got a message from a random which said "lol ur soo bad".

    It wasn't even Gary.

Got my Titan up to 32 though.

  5. Despite having been available digitally for a month Dying Light has gone straight in at number one, followed by Dragon Ball XenoVerse.

Although it’s been available as a digital download for over a month now (thanks to a distribution snafu) the retail release of Dying Light still managed to debut at number one in both UK charts, immediately knocking The Order: 1886 from its perch.

There’s no indication of how well Dying Light did compared to developer Techland’s Dead Island series, but Chart-Track do note that it’s the third week in a row that a brand new IP (i.e. not a sequel or licensed game) has been at number one. The PlayStation 4 was the best-selling version, with 57 per cent of all sales, followed by the Xbox One on 40 per cent and the PC on 3 per cent.

The Order: 1886 saw sales fall by 56 per cent in its second week, which is perfectly normal for any new title, and in the individual formats chart stayed ahead of the week’s other major new entry: Dragon Ball XenoVerse.

Despite this XenoVerse still recorded the best first week sales ever for a Dragon Ball title in the UK, with the PlayStation 4 version again the best-seller on 50 per cent. The Xbox One version accounted for 32 per cent of sales and the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 just 9 per cent each.

  6. Morning :)

I've done a bit of tidying and getting rid of dead wood. The Gallery is gone, the clans & communities is gone seeing as we're all FG now, I've merged and deleted a few forums and given Dying Light its own forum seeing as it seems to be taking off.

All threads are in The Pit so are 100% recoverable. If you need a thread recovered feel free to ask.

Also, if you have any other ideas or suggestions, you know where to find me ;)

    Cheers!

  7. If you dont have thd Dying Light companion app, get it on android and itwat. Heres a quick copypasta:

"The Dying Light: Companion App is your free, one way ticket to Harran, the zombie infected city in which you managed to survive in. As a newly promoted scout commander, your role is to manage a team of Scouts – other survivors who are brave and swift enough to fight with the infected while gathering supplies and saving other survivors.

Manage your scouts as they embark on dangerous missions. Find new recruits that will join your ranks. Assemble teams that are best suited for any given task and watch them come back with supplies and glory. Send the wrong people to fight the infected, and they will come back as one of them…

Components, supplies, and gear that your scouts find in the Companion App can be transferred to your character in the Dying Light game when it’s released. NOTE: you’ll need to create an account on your Dying Light game which will be available on any next gen console or PC."

    Its good. Get it.
