Looking into streaming/ recording some videos of Playstation 2 games. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on equipment I should look into purchasing? I'm completely new to this stuff. I have a capable laptop, playstation 2 and a decent monitor. Just need to know what else I need to get started. Thanks for any help in advance.

Yeah it's definitely trial and error, probably loads of YT vids of people using or capturing etc. Sounds like you have most things, you can probably get trial versions of software and cancel or that and switch between a few.

Thanks @IRaMPaGe I'll take a look at some capture cards this weekend. I'm hoping it's not too difficult to set-up. I purchased a HDMI converter and a HDMI splitter so I can have both my PS4 and PS2 plugged into my monitor at the same time. However I seem to have green dots all over the screen now so it mustn't be plugged in properly somewhere. I have not clue on software but I'm sure I'll be able to do some editing free online somehow. I'll have to see.

You will need a capture card, anything before PS4 doesn't have the processing power. On PS4 you can stream through a PC without one. Most common and popular are Elgato, probably cheaper ones on the market. Not sure about TVs and monitors, I'm sure the PS2 doesn't like HDMI, maybe a converter cable if your running a newer TV. Possibly some sort of software program depending on if your editing videos at all. I'm not an expert and have little to no experience, but I'm sure you will need some of these things.

Tomorrow (Feb 19th) is Metal Gear Rising's 10 year anniversary and I've been revisiting it last couple of days. It still holds up as one of the most pulsating and entertaining games out there and has aged like fine wine. Also received a massive following which isn't bad considering this was just a spin-off by Platinum Games of Hideo Kojima's classic Metal Gear brand. The game still looks and plays remarkably and the soundtrack is sensational!

Maybe they will come, if I still play the game next year 😄 I doubt that I do though.

Maybe I never noticed then as you would need to extract with it and that really happened to me in building 21. At one point I had 5-6 of them and they seemed to be getting used up

Then they either bugged it or changed it part way through season 1 because I deployed into Building 21 countless times on a single keycard. Honestly though if it stays this way I can't really see myself going into Building 21 I'm not hunting Al Mazrah for a keycard or 40k from the buy to roll into Building 21 and die to God Tier bots immediately.

They should nerf all snipers! At least the ADS speed. Btw, do you seriously need 51 guns platinum to unlock next camo? 😳

Building 21 now consumes an access card when you enter. So you need to either buy or loot one each time you want to take on Building 21

SPX Sniper is gold, Signal Sniper is the only gun left to gold (excluding season 2 weapons). Not really fancying doing it tbh, the gun feels a bit slow and they nerfed it heavily in Season 2 I noticed. Might pass it by and use some of the new weapons once unlocked.

Ngl, it looks like a pretty good story from the trailer! Taron is becoming a very decent actor imo too. Out 31st March on Apple. Thoughts?
