To those of you who haven't checked this out yet. The link below contains everything you need to know about getting the best armor in the game. It seems you need to collect 5 power cells and progress pretty far into the game. Even though the first 2 can be found very early on.

Thanks Seb, I didn't realise there was one at the start. I'll have to go back and grab it. Is this the best armour possible or just what someone has found so far? Would be good to know why it is so good.

I read that in the article Sebba linked to. Don't think I want to be almost invincible tbh. Kinda ruins the feeling of acomplishement. For now...

Not sure how good it is as I still need to go back to the start and get the power cell there and I also need the 5th one from the Eclipse camp.

I think it is simply the best armour that there is.  The reason it is so good is that it makes you invincible for a certain amount of damage.  The armour powers up and while powered up you take no damage whatsoever but if you take too much damage then the suit powers down and you will take damage like normal.  It is quite a lot of damage you can take though, like multiple direct hits from a Thunderjaw and you're fine.  If the suit powers down though you can just dodge around for a few seconds and it powers back on and your invincible again.
