Completed my first Playthrough. Had a sneak spec. Character. Maxed lock picking, sneak and hacking. The game on normal mode became way to easy. Most fights became just taking out the enemy before they even had time to realize I was there.

My intention was to become a brotherhood of steel but that was a flop. I wanted to infiltrate the institute and kill every last one of them bastards. But I went in too deep and Shaun had a pretty soothing and reassuring voice. Bastard.

Ended up taking out the whole railroad leadership. They were having a meeting about my elite infiltration abilities. I walked into the circle, dropped a nuke mine, walked away and shot the mine. They all died a quick and painless death.

But then I became the enemy of the brotherhood. Then came the realization that I was evil. I would pickpocket and drop live grenades in innocent peoples pockets.

My paragon Mass Effect character would be ashamed if he had seen what I had become.

Got most of the trophies. The remaining ones will require a second Playthrough.

Next character will be max strength, melee, and endurance. You don't really get anything good from picking locks. Most master chests had pre war money, ammo and weak weapons. Haven't opened any master chest that had anything great inside.

I will be a good guy onon my next Playthrough. Anyone know if you become an enemy of the brotherhood if you join the railroad?

I agree completely about the game on the regular difficulty setting. I had to stop playing and up the difficulty. It was getting to the point where I wasn't using power armor, and I was running and gunning as if it was CoD.

I'm not really sure about what happens with the Railroad or the BoS. I do know I want Elder Maxson's coat, so he is getting nuked at some point.

I don't like how the stats work in the game. Other than to buy perks, I can't think of a single stat aside from Charisma that is needed. And even Charisma isn't needed if you stick with Dogmeat as your companion.

Master Chests, at a higher difficulty, they have a chance to spawn Legendary equipment. At least that is what I have read. I am level 39 on the Hard setting, and haven't found a single Legendary piece of gear in a safe. (However, Legendary mobs spawn all the fucking time, and it is annoying)

Luke 23:34
'And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't think it be like it is, but it do."

Just finished my first and possibly only play-through in around 55 hours of being in-game and reaching level 40. Got 34/50 achievements and sided with the

Railroad

in the end.  I did stress myself of what faction to commit to and I did a lot of thinking until my brain hurt but each one is has benefits and drawbacks to the extent you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. I thought the final few missions were excellent though and have saved games backed-up which allow me to jump into each faction to complete their respective finale also. I don't think I want to do another run anytime soon although it was an excellent game for the most part. Still have a few loose ends to tie up and achievements to earn on my main file but will certainly look to explore each ending as well.

My experience with the last two Fallout games (particularly New Vegas where I didn't really like any of the factions) has led me to focus on everything except the main missions.

I'm 62 hours into my first play-through and I haven't been to Diamond City yet. I have met the Brotherhood of Steel (after following a trail of holotags) and I've been presented with a mission that I haven't accepted.

I'm just doing the minute man thing until I'm happy with my perks, armour and weapons. It's my intention to make this game last a long time.
