It comes with a 1tb hybrid SSD and a brand new heavily modified controller. The package costs $500. This could drive the price of the core units right down for Christmas but for them to be ultra competitive with the PS4; they probably should have slimmed the unit down. I had a slim PS2 which was really portable, loved that little machine, have the slim Xbox360 too, though it's not all that slim. For some things in life smaller is better. About 50gb will be allocated for the OS which is all the sad part would be for. So OS improvements are really the only benefit.
