J4MES OX4D 10,197
Prospective GTA V players got screwed over - first the game was showing as £12.99 and $29.99 and when people added it to their cart the price went back up to £38.98 which the discount price of 25% because they've thrown in some pointless Shark Cards which players don't need with all the moneybag hackers floating around So instead of a 25% discount on the base game; it's just a saving of £1.01 with the cards thrown in for good measure. Still ain't bought anything although the Metro Redux collection is a great offer. Homeworld Remastered at 60% off is worth a look and The Binding of Issac Rebirth is an absolute must buy! Sennex 1,909
Some companies have raised prices on games right before today's sale. Be careful when buying http://www.reddit.com/r/Games/comments/39gi24/xpost_rsteam_some_companies_are_raising_prices_on/ That thread details a lot of it Luke 23:34 'And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't think it be like it is, but it do." Sennex 1,909
This sale sorta blows so far or is it just me Luke 23:34 'And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't think it be like it is, but it do." phil bottle 9,977
Elite: Dangerous and Project Cars both have very modest reductions. I may take a view and buy one on the last day of the sale if nothing enticing comes up. Saying that I already have Star Citizen and Dirt Rally. Could be I buy nothing in a Steam sale this season. Sennex 1,909
Oddly I have spent more this season than other seasons, but (And here is the kicker) it has all been on DLC I was missing, or one off games I needed to finish a franchise. Van Helsing 3 Defense Grid 2 Xcom DLC+ Expansion Luke 23:34 'And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't think it be like it is, but it do." J4MES OX4D 10,197
I've done okay in the sale so far although there is nothing mind blowing in terms of significant discounts or big surprises. I've picked up The Witcher 3, The Half Life Collection, The Blackwell Collection, Resonance, The Shivah and Primordia - The WadjetEye games are amazing! I think I'm done but with 7 days still to go; my wallet could experience further stress for sure! Sennex 1,909
I have no idea what any of those games are after Half Life Collection LOL I will look them up now though EDIT: Oh Cool, old school Point and Click games! let me know which ones are decent out of there, I have like 15$ left in my wallet for this sale Luke 23:34 'And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't think it be like it is, but it do." I recommend Gemini Rue and Technobabylon definitely - both really amazing games that capture the old feel perfectly. The others I haven't yet played but they are also apparently really good. Great publisher that's worth keeping an eye on. Such a shame Blade Runner isn't on Steam though as that's the genre king Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/2631-steam-summer-sale-tracker/#findComment-63393 Share on other sites
Sennex 1,909
I will add them to my list then. I typically avoid Indie games, but will try these out Luke 23:34 'And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't think it be like it is, but it do." deterioration 443
Van Helsing 3 I received the first one (Complete Pack) in a bundle and have yet to try it out so I’ve been wondering if the game(s) are worth going through. Seems you're a fan; goods, bads, uglies? I've picked up... The Half Life Collection... Have you ever played Half Life 1&2? They’re great games! I’ve been going through HL2 again to get the achievements they added. I find myself looking forward to finishing it again its so good! Here's my list so far at $55.07 spent. I've been wanting to play them for a while now with exception of Alice: Madness Returns. I beat the stuffing out of it on 360 but its amazing. The Blue Steel Sub-Zero was a total waste of money Alan Wake Franchise Alice: Madness Returns Blue Steel Sub-Zero Bully: Scholarship Edition DiRT Rally Half-Life 2: Episode One Half-Life 2: Episode Two Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition I get the feeling one day I'm coming home to this about my game buying. I find myself looking forward to finishing it again its so good! I'm a bit of a Half Life veteran and have all the boxed disc versions but decided just to get them all on Steam to save on the hassle of re-installing by disc - I had Half Life 2 on Steam but that is with an account from 2003 that is long gone now After playing Black Mesa; I just wanted to go back to all the HL games from the start but god knows when I'm gonna find time to finish them. £6.79 for the lot plus extra content is an unreal price too! You should half a look at Black Mesa - it's a stunning mod of the original. The Xen levels aren't finished but the core of the game is all there and it's amazing http://store.steampowered.com/app/362890/ Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/2631-steam-summer-sale-tracker/#findComment-63706 Share on other sites
