Arc Raiders Shared Watch Event

The Shared Watch is a celebration of Raiders that have each other's back. From February 10-24, Raiders who battle the ARC will unlock items, Raider Tokens, and progress through the new cosmetic set: The Slugger.

How to progress
Players will earn merits from destroying, assisting and damaging ARC and earn rewards. No merits will be earned from PvP encounters. Bring a friend or bring a stranger, but above all, bring enough ammo to make sure the machines notice you first.

 

Thoughts

Looks like they're pushing a 2 week event of full PvE rather than PvP aspect. Initial reaction is it would've been nice to get something else other than just XP. However, the idea of getting people to think more about joining up and hurting the bigger Arc enemies I really like. How many is a good number to help take down a Matriarch? I think the latest free 'Project' near the latter stages requires Queen reactor parts and some other high level Arc parts so it could be a good idea to get partied up a few times where possible.
