  2. I got team-killed again today but this time it didn't seem to be griefing as he apologised but I think I'll move over to the pve only servers which have friendly fire on, at least until I'm level 20 and doing higher level stuff with - in theory - better experienced players 🤪 I've completed an introduction mission from one of the vendors and I'm currently lvl 2. Killed lots of ai but they've done me a few times too, they'll reposition and actually chase after and look for you, if you run away or move to another building etc It's definitely still too laggy to recommend I'd say but I'm enjoying learning the map and mechanics and my 5 hours have been a blast.
  3. Yes yes, a winter map so I can get a cold faster and die lol. @crispymorgantime to get all the meds.
  4. There's mooted to be a new map about to drop soon, among order stuff happening at a forthcoming DayZ event. A winter map in Norway possibly but really no-one knows yet. Plus all owners of DayZ who never bought the previous dlc map, Livonia, are being given it for free.
  5. So we managed to get on this last night, Lee, Tom and once we managed to install the games (the auto downloads did not work for various reasons). Anyway I had a lot of fun with this, it's a very different pace compared to Helldivers, COD etc. I managed to kill Lee with a bomb thinking friendly fire was off, we almost burnt down the ship multiple times, I watched Tom raise the anchor while the ship was in flames all next to him, we also locked Tom in the brig only for him to die and come back as a skeleton (just on my screen apparently). Oh and if your crew mates are drunk definately don't fall off the ship! It runs really smooth and the gameplay is quite simple in all honesty but it was kind of refreshing to play after some of the recent multiplayer games we have been into. There was no pressure to do anything and I think at the end of the session we were just sailing about aimlessly, playing music and just visiting random islands and such. I am quite looking forward to diving back in and unlocking more quests and such.
  6. Last week
  7. I've played 2 hours of the game, it's a bit janky but I'm really liking it. I chose the LRI faction, which can never be changed, and this means if you have friends who choose one of the other factions (there's 3 in total) you can't play with them as they are effectively your enemy. A dipshit team-killed me tonight which was a bit stupid as you can see all your faction players location on the map. I hunted the prick down and had my revenge : ) Game needs some work but they seem to be pretty responsive as we can shoot from helicopters now, so hope they continue to listen to feedback 🤗 I bought the game for 29.99 and if they carry on making it better I'll support them by picking up one of the supporter upgrades...will see anyway...
  8. Only 44% positive so far but I'm guessing lots of people are leaving a negative review after 0.3 hours after experiencing performance issues or bitching that the game isn't finished🤣 Arma Reforger seems to have come a long way of late and the population is picking up so I may check that out in time.
  9. I've played about an hour or so. It's definitely still in an early access state. I was getting 60+ frames but there's a bit of stuttering and occasional lag and that needs to be sorted. A few server issues getting into the game but didn't crash on me at all. Arma Reforger is in a much better state and right now I'd tell folk to go for that first but I'm happy with this game, hope it gets supported and they sort out their servers.
  10. I thoroughly enjoyed this show, great story lines, compelling characters, great acting, gorgeous landscapes etc. really kept me hooked, reminded me of Witcher season 1 in terms of its watchability. heres to more!
  11. It's 30 quid, you can buy supporter packs that give you more equipment and space etc but I'm fine for the time being. If I enjoy the game and feel like supporting the devs I'll look at that down the line.
  12. Big opportunity for this game now especially after the Tarkov calamity.
  13. I’m down for another shot at the title, just got to remember not to pick the bills while drinking again
  14. Releases into early access tomorrow on Steam, so yeah that's me sorted 🤪🥰
  15. Now that the draft is in the books we can start looking forward to the next NFL season and another year of FG NFL Fantasy Football !!! Can anyone topple 2 time champion @jordie1892, or will he make it back to back to back titles? There have been some big quarterback moves in the last couple of months that could make for an interesting season. If you would like to take part in the next season just reply to this thread. For previous entrants please confirm if you would like to take part again this year, the more we get doing this the better it will be 🙂 @G_dub52 @Ally @GazzaGarratt @Lurchzy @jordie1892 @Findmartin @Plumbers Crack @techno @Baabcat @Laidback Lankyman @Luseth
  16. They've finally backed down and I honestly didn't expect them too...but the community and even their pet streamers actually kept up the pressure, which surprised me, that's quite rare in gaming these days. Was quite funny seeing Arma and other developers taking piss out of them, they've left a bad taste in one's mouth so will see if they've rescued themselves...
  17. It gets worse Tarkov studio claims it actually doesn't have the server capacity for everyone who bought the game for $150 to play its upcoming PvE mode, still wants players to pay extra | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM Battlestate Games continues to assert that this upcoming mode does not constitute "DLC," and is thus not part of the $150 bundle. So they don't have the capacity to support PvE even for users who bought the $150 game so they now expect people to pay $250 instead lmao! I can see why the offline mod was so popular and I honestly don't know why they don't go down this route - save a boatload on operating costs and allow people to play the mode as intended without the burden of being always online. If they can't afford it then they can't do it. This situation is so dire, they'll probably have to call it quits, sell the brand to some diarrhoea Chinese company like Tencent and walk away before they wreck the game into absolute oblivion.
