  2. I really REALLY like the UI. Its such a dealbreaker on these games, and probably why I can never get into the last 10-15 years of this game as it felt so overwhelming. If they can make that easier to flow and use so there's more gameplay rather than tinkering the absolute minute detail then I'm all for it.
  3. Got an email about VF5 being available from now on Steam, PS5 and Xbox. I'll copy and paste the details below to follow what what to do to have a chance at a beta code. 6. It was even going for £2.99 on Steam. I still didn't buy it🤣 The amount of content you get at launch on these games is minimal and we've already experienced half the original maps of BF6 just from playing the beta alone and I must admit I was bored of all of them in just a few hours. The only bad thing about not playing the latest MP game at launch is you miss the game at its peak when the community is alive. I'm really not sure I can justify paying £60 for this though and I'm not sold on how the developers are taking this game forward along with EA's long term vision of the franchise.
  7. Exactly, we can criticize EA a lot, but unlike other licenses, a few years after the release of the games, we have very interesting prices.
  8. Last week
  9. Very wise. In fact I saw that BF2042 was going for as little as £5 quite recently.
  10. Do like me, buy 3 years after release, I'm having fun on bf5 and there are a lot of people ! 😁 The beta didn't convince me. I have high hopes for the mod portal and modding (I don't know much about it), but I'll be keeping a close eye on its release.
  11. After last year's debacle, I am tempted to grab this. Looks like they've made some key improvements Also a much-improved matchday engine
  12. Yep, first two were excellent and had a certain charm to them, I enjoyed them a lot. If I want a Borderlands experience I can always go back to them, 2 still holds up really well.
  13. Games have literally doubled in price in the last 10 years and i'm being a lot more careful where I spend my money these days. I'll be hanging back and see how BF6 plays out before I consider it. But yes I agree, Battlefield used to serve a particular niche that they seem to be turning their backs on. It looks like a decent upgrade on COD but its not Battlefield any more. Such is life 🙃
  14. Their last Battle Royale attempt failed and there's no reason why this wont either. I'm seriously considering not bothering getting this game because they're just going down the Call of Duty route and losing everything that makes Battlefield what it is. Looks like they're going to miss the open goal they've been gifted on a plate this year.
  15. Good old Channel 5 Chelsea with LeBoeuf, Kevin Hitchcock, Michael Duberry and Graham Le Saux. That was their standard until the dirty money came in and they bought success. Sadly just like City, nothing will happen with this.
  16. I didn't even bother picking up Borderlands 3 when it was £2.99 so I doubt I'll pick this up. Apparently it's plagued with performance issues and invisible walls that completely restrict the playing space. I'm sure the story is better than the last game but that isn't much of a feat really. The first two were great games but this is something I can't really be bothered with now.
  17. They'll always be Cheatski to me, a nothing club until the Russian gangster came along to launder his dirty money 🤪
  18. BF6 battle royale info
  19. I've not really bothered watching this games promos as I got bored with the series and don't like mandy prickford who makes it. Looks much the same other than it seems to need some optimisation, pretty standard these days lol
  20. The owner and Nuno never got on it seems plus the way the season finished for them last year was a disaster even though they made Europe. Probably best for all parties they went their separate ways.
  21. I've been putting off watching Happy Gilmore 2. Little worried it'll spoil my feelings on how good number 1 was. You've reminded me though that I've been wanting to watch Nobody 2 so I need to find out which streaming service its on.
  22. Do you think Nuno just didn't want to be there anymore and felt it was going to drop off so forced to get out now? Heard it was because Edu came in as some Techinical Head of Football and they didn't get on. Good to see Ange back so quickly though.
  23. Finally watched Happy Gilmore 2, 28 Years later, and Nobody 2 Mixed opinions on all of them. Not really sure what to say.
  24. Its on GamePass but not sure I'll play it, I never finished the original, but kudos to them for selling it at a reasonable price : )
  25. Nuno gone at Forest, looks like Ange will be taking over. Funny old game 🤪
  26. Ah Black Ops II - they don't make them like this anymore.
  27. It's the usual butthurt ex-Blizzard, ex-BioWare and ex-Sony mob just bitter of their success and going on their usual Bluesky ramblings. As usual, they make a total fool of themselves and then wonder why nobody hires them or buys their crap.
