  2. Oh man, now THATS how they break this market. That or a similar styled Gameboy.
  3. This is taking an absolute battering out there. Visually looks great but baron of anything interesting to do and some really strange stuff happening. This was actually done out of bounds so not surprised it didn't work....however where there is water in game, its extremely shallow and it still looks so bad. Its like they got 70% of the way, lost money, and then thought of the quickest way to make money with just a few immoral people left in the building. Shows how much you can't just make games overnight though. In this day and age, you'll get found out quickly and royally taken to the cleaners by the world wide social media. Big whoopsie.
  4. Today
  5. Watched this the other night too. As you say, probably not as good as the first, but definitely up there and very easy to watch. Really enjoyed it, especially as i've never been a fan of Ben Affleck films but he really nails this character for me.
  6. Yesterday
  7. Looks like Sony started issuing no questions asked refunds. Also Cohh's sponsored stream was cancelled at the last minute to avoid further humiliation for the publishers. System-wide refunds may be on the cards and this could be another write-off.
  8. Last week
  9. Like RTS games that are reminiscent of C&C, Dune 2? Then go grab the demo for it It has a tutorial mission, and then a midpoint mission that kicked my butt. I was able to get one of the seeds destroyed before I ran out of money for new units. This game is HELLA hard it feels like Also the twist on classic RTS must be experienced (Fair warning, aim for the large trunks) Calyx on Steam STORE.STEAMPOWERED.COM A strategy game with a new kind of enemy, Calyx puts you in charge of a space mining outpost, locked in battle with an overwhelming alien...
  10. Visually the game is one of the best, I just couldn't get into the "story", or the gameplay loop
  11. Out on PC today and there is already a demo available. Plays like a cross between Metal Gear Rising, Devil May Cry and Dark Souls. Presentation is excellent and it runs smooth. Definitely tempted to grab it as the demo was enjoyable.
  12. I ventured into the forum and saw a few suspects who pre-ordered The Day Before previous, who were literally bumming the game. Don't know why people have a fetish in buying into shit games and defending products they literally have no idea about. Leslie Benzies is pretty washed in the industry now and was blinded by NFT's and Crypto so the GTA and Blockchain bollocks probably got a few deluded people on board but any proper gamer with a brain could see this was absolute slop nonsense with no substance.
  13. Yeah it looks so basic it comes across like a scam, deary me, and also you'd have had to be a bit of an idiot to buy it without checking reviews. Then again the GTA connection probably blinded some...
  14. Looks like the Steam community enjoy it. I don't believe I'd heard of it, I will check it out!
  15. As expected, this game is shite. The fact that the publisher tried to convince everyone that the bad reception prior to launch was Rockstar bots causing disarray becomes even more hilarious. 40% positive on Steam, about 1200 reviews and no more than 3.5k players and falling massively. It's also emerged that this was once-part of a NFT platform which would explain a lot as the game does remember part-asset flip and part ulterior motive.
  16. So I picked this game up about a year ago, and it's somewhat usurped Minecraft as my go to game when bored at work. The basic premise is you are a convicted criminal thats exiled to a planet and you need to terraform it in order to survive. You have to gather ore's in order to build drills, shelters, generators, food growers, etc... Starting off you need to increase pressure, heat, and oxygen. This will in turn melt the ice that is everywhere and start the water cycle, from there you gather materials to start getting moss and grass to grow and spread. From there Tree's, eventually you hit insects and then animals. The thing that I love about the game is that it runs in the background, and based on how many of each type of machine you have, you get a real time countdown to when the next planetary phase unlocks. The more machines the faster it is, the less machines, the slower. So I can fire it up, sit in my shelter, and work, but the game just runs along happily, and as long as I have food, water, and oxygen in my pack my convict jsut hangs out. It was made by a small indie dev team, and it shows with some weird clipping when you get close to map edges, but other than that, its one of the best games I have played in the last year. Latest update Trailer Release Trailer Its 23.99$ right now on steam, and honestly if any of you need a fun PC game, and like to build things, this will be your jam.
  17. Yea, it seems to have really positive reviews, Its going to be a few weeks before I grab it though. I will let you know when I do.
  18. An update recently stopped me playing for a bit as I had a decision to make. To take advantage of the update properly it meant wiping my character and all my progress. This was a tough decision but I finally did it today. Back to being a level 1 with my hideout barren of anything except candles to light it 😅
  19. If i see others pick this game up I might do the same, seems to be doing ok
  20. Sinners - Amazing Accountant 2 - not as good as the first, but still fun A few old movies, my son and I have started going over what he would consider classics Silent Running Slaughterhouse Five Fight Club Forbidden Planet Dark Star Colossus the Forbin Project Journey to the Far Side of the Sun Life Force
  21. ~Looks at my Switch~ ~Looks at my Steam Deck~ ~Looks at my Tablet~ ~Looks at my Laptop~ Yep, I am happy for this LOL Now if PS would bring back the Vita, I would be set
  22. I picked this up last weekend, and WOW is it good. The storytelling is actually really solid, and seriously creative. I need to do a deep dive on Creole mythology and cryptids. I don't want to give anything away, so this review will be short. The color and animation in the game turned me off at first, but it soon grew on me, the controls are really tight, but tend to loosen the faster you move. Which is a good thing as there are a lot of wall running sections, and running away from larger enemies and spirits. The enemies are creative but repetitive. Its okay for the most part because it makes sense that they would be. The main story, and the side stories were great, and really sad in most parts, which is also the point. All that said, the game was short, it took me about 10 hours to beat. That being said I think the $30 - $40 price tag works well for it. If they tried to sell it for $60+ it wouldn't be worth it at all. Or just get gamepass and play it for free
  23. Bought this last week, still haven't touched it yet. I also grabbed South of Midnight, and Metal Slug Tactics
  24. I grabbed the Demo today, but it was just a benchmarking tool, and Character generator. I will probably buy it this weekend and give it a try though
  25. So happy to see most of you are still here. Holy shit. Life happened. But I never forgot about you guys. Been with you since 2009 when MW2 was the ONLY thing. Diddums, BO7H B4RRELS, Cal, tronic44, Fisher, TigerBurge, Baabcat, cyberninja, ChaosGladiator, Capn_Underpants, NCA-Paendrag, GazzaGaratt, IRaMPaGe Hello it's your friend, FuhgawzzZ Remember Auptyk? 😂 It's just nice to be here again. Sorry if I forgot someone. I really have missed you all
  26. It's got some good ratings on Steam from its early access period and has a decent number of players. The finished game looks more refined but still seems a bit bland. I will probably keep my eye on it to see how it plays out once the rest get their hands on it tomorrow.
