I think it'll get a very poor reception even if it turns out reasonable but unless it is swarmed in praise; I don't think we'll get another series of Top Gear again. I actually felt it was going downhill in recent times even with the trio - the format was getting rather stale for me and there were no grand or exciting episodes like we'd seen over the years. I think the new one will have far too many presenters and try to retain all the scripted and predictable stuff which was making the last few series quite tiresome. 

 

Chris Evans has apparently fallen foul of the production team on numerous occasions and there's rumoured disharmony in the team with the weight of pressure on them. The producers even wasted £500,000 on a trip they aren't even going to show which has already aggravated the taxpayers and we've already seen a massive segment cut where they were joyriding around a war memorial.

 

It's not got off to a promising start and it hasn't even started yet!
