Some really good drives throughout from what I could see this week. 1st and 2nd (@Greboth @JBR-Kiwi ) was kind of dictated by strategy mess ups so for me the stars were the middle of the pack with Clive @Teenwolf25 and Crispy @crispymorgan having their best drives since me, James @Lurch and Paul @slamminbones really struggled to keep the car quick and on the track. I think Clive just edged it for me, however there's no doubt Crispy will be a driver of the week over the next few weeks if he can avoid my utter rotten luck 😄 There might be a race report up soon to give more detail but for now let us know what you think if you saw or raced in it! A spin off from what we've doing over recent months (or should I say @Greboth and @phil bottle a lot more than me!) is rather doing just time trials, selecting the weekly race, having a few practice/qualifying laps and then having a 11 lap race. Phil took me on a spin last night and it was seriously good fun, much different to our Friday night banter, smash everyone in sight, games. I think it also helps you understand more about the cars strengths/weaknesses as well as the track layout which is a massive factor if we are turning it into a race. There were minor penalties on too for cutting corners or going ignoring the speed limit which really did work when i thought initially it wouldn't. I'm thinking we should make this into a little mini series. GT Sport is £12.99 on Amazon next day delivery now and anyone that loves racing games is a fool not to own the game already. @Greboth @G_dub52 @JBR-Kiwi what do you reckon?

Here's the poll for this week! Put your votes in please!! For me whilst a few people had some moments of glory and brilliance, I think @Greboth showed his ridiculous pace on both tracks, holding off @JBR-Kiwi in the first race and absolutely destroying nearly all of us in the second. Top job mate 👏👏👏 Who and why do you think won it this week?

I've been thinking about trying out manual gears for some time now on Gt Sport as I know its generally faster times you can get however at the best of times there's a lot to concentrate on, let alone then change gears as you race. So are there any helpful tips on what to look out for, how to change gears, etc. I appreciate I know how to do it in real life but racing in a virtual world is very different to the real thing! Likely to start out on controller but obviously tips for people with racing wheel's are welcome too as I'd love to own one in the future. Cheers all!

I'm wanting to suggest more tracks each week with our regular GT Sport races slot gathering lots of interest of late. So I thought i'd open it up to everyone. For me, Sardegna and Willow Springs in Gr.4 cars can lead to seriously close times and very rewarding when you nail the laps. They're not super hard tracks to race on but there a small areas where you can work on each lap to get faster and better at the corners. They would absolutely lead to interesting races for sure. And yes, Blue Moon Speedway is basically nearly an oval but surprisingly made for interesting races (and yes I did win that one but thats not the point 😄). I think if any race like this can lead to exciting and close racing between more of us is definitely one to keep in mind. I'll keep an eye out for any reverse tracks or specifically ones which are better with a certain variation. Whats peoples thoughts as we start trying more tracks out?

I checked my latest games I've been playing for updates and stumbled on GT Sport having a big 2.5GB update. Looks like a free update with 1 new racetrack and 9 new cars available, plus a couple of new events: Track Spanish Grand Prix - Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya Cars Ferrari GTO ’84 Pagani Zonda R ’09 Maserati GranTurismo S ’08 Honda EPSON NSX ’08 Lexus PETRONAS TOM’S SC430 ’08 Nissan XANAVI NISMO GT-R ’08 MINI Cooper S ’05 Jaguar E-type Coupé ’61 Subaru Impreza 22B-STi Version ’9 GT League Events the MINI Challenge X2014 Nations Cup Might have a nose at that Subaru and the Jag. Top free update that I wasn't expecting. Nice to see lots of support for this game still being offered, it's more popular still than I realised.

Not surprisrd to say the least. They always take far too long to 'perfect' Gran Turismo games in my opinion. ------------------------------------------------ Gran Turismo Sport won’t see release until sometime next year, Polyphony Digital announced this morning on the PlayStation Blog. Originally scheduled for a Nov. 15 launch in North America and Japan, the game has been pushed back so that the developer can spend "more time to perfect [it]." "We do not want to compromise the experience in any way," creator Kazunori Yamauchi wrote. "While we cannot confirm a new release date at this time, we are more committed than ever to making GT Sport the best Gran Turismo game to date." The delay comes even after Polyphony Digital canceled an open beta in order to cut down on development time. Both the demo and the game had been revealed last fall during Paris Games Week for a 2016 debut. Gran Turismo Sport has been playable at recent events like E3 in June and Gamescom earlier this month, however, and it will continue to make the rounds at various events throughout the year. The latest entry in the successful racing series will be the first to hit PlayStation 4 whenever it does arrive.
