  1. Code Vein is set for release on “major home consoles” in 2018. You play as a Revenant in a post-apocalyptic world where only one stronghold remains. Revenants fight to survive with the help of Gifts in exchange for their memories. Vein is the same of a secret society you stumble upon, one of whom will accompany you on the search for answers. These Revenants get access to something called Blood Veils, which the press release describes as devices cable of draining blood from enemies. This blood is then used to enhance your abilities. As for Gifts, these sound like the monster forms from the God Eater series, items that transform you into a more powerful being.
  2. Event Title: Last ever Iron Banner on Destiny 1 Event Author: GazzaGarratt Calendar: Destiny Calendar Event Date: 08/01/2017 12:00 AM to 08/07/2017 12:00 AM It's been confirmed - the last Iron Banner for Destiny 1 will take place on August 1st for that week. As its the last one and we've many good laughs and group ups on Iron Banner, it would be great to play some games all of this week as a final send off to it. Plus it may be the last time for a while now that we get to have PvP with 6 people in a group. RSVP your name down if you're playing it in this week. I'm sure we can talk about it nearer the time to see whos on which days to get a few groups going. Last ever Iron Banner on Destiny 1

  4. God of War and Kratos are coming to PlayStation 4 and they’re set to make a very big impression at this year’s E3 conference. After being revealed at Sony’s press conference at the show last year, mammoth posters appearing across LA this year suggest not-so-subtly to us that Sony is preparing to give this PS4 exclusive an even bigger push this year. Not only will the game feature in Sony’s sure-to-be blockbuster-heavy press conference, it’s also getting its own hour long presentation at E3 Coliseum. Looks likely to be early 2018. Below gameplay trailer was from E3 in 2016 Never played God of War (sorry) just passed me by. I'm pretty sure Kratos got voted the most horrible player to play in a video game recently. Sounds fun. Anyone looking into this?
  5. Rocket League has been announced for Nintendo Switch at E3 with the additional bonus of being able to play cross-play with other platforms. Apart from Sony. They've refused citing it is about commercial details. Sony have to be careful here as they may shoot an own goal after a top performance at E3. First Minecraft, then Rocket League. I'm not sure what their problem is as Psyonix have come out to clearly state they can switch it on for ps4 players within an hour as they run all their own servers.
  6. Burnout was one of the most enjoyable crazy car games out, especially because it was all about smashing everything into smithereens. As there is some war between the rights of the Burnout name, 3 previous employees have created Danger Zone. It's out now on PC and PS4. It seems to be only £8.99 in the UK so a similar cheap price in the US. I'm absolutely picking this up. This looks like so much fun for my son and I, like it used to be.
  7. Weekly Nightfall Shield Brothers is your Nightfall this week. Modifiers Catapult, Match Game, Fresh Troops, and Airborne are active. Catapult greatly increases your grenade charge rate. Match Game forces you to use correct elemental weapons to go through enemy shields. Fresh Troops means there’ll be more enemies in some squads. Airborne increase the damage you do while in the air. Prison of Elders -Level 32: Broken Legion -Level 34: Urrox’s Grudge Court of Oryx Thalnok, Fanatic of Crota (mini Crota) is the tier 3 boss this week. Sterling Treasure Like every week, your chances of getting Sterling Treasure chests are renewed with every reset. You get one for free just by visiting the Postmaster. Another is waiting when you finish a match in the weekly Crucible playlist, and one more when you complete a full game of Level 41 Prison of Elders. King’s Fall raid challenge It’s Oryx’s turn for the raid challenge this week.
  8. I'd be interested to know what theme you have in the background of your PS4. I currently with the Destiny Rise Of Iron free theme which has subtle visual changes with the fire and the Destiny song rather than PS4 one. A story shown today some awesome ones that are interactive. One of the best is below and free - Abe's Odyssey. So what's your preference? Or do you just have the stock blue screen for your PS4?
  9. Final Fantasy XII is a fantasy role-playing video game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 2 home video console. Originally released in 2006, a high-definition remaster of the International Zodiac Job System version, subtitled The Zodiac Age, will be released worldwide for the PlayStation 4. Out on 11th July
  10. Dirt 4 is an upcoming rally racing video game developed by Codemasters. It is the twelfth game in the Colin McRae Rally series and the sixth title to carry the Dirt name. Out on June 6th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
  11. The Elder Scrolls Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing video game developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It was originally released for Microsoft Windows and OS X on April 4, 2014. Out on June 6th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
  12. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is an upcoming platform video game compilation developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision for the PlayStation 4. Out on June 30th.
  13. Tekken 7 is a fighting video game developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game is the ninth installment in the Tekken series, and the first to make use of the Unreal Engine. Out on June 2nd for PS4 and Xbox One.
  14. Friday the 13th Friday the 13th: The Game is an upcoming survival horror video game developed by Gun Media and IllFonic, and published by Gun Media. It is based on the franchise of the same name owned by New Line Cinema. Out on May 26th on PS4 and Xbox One.
  15. Injustice 2 Injustice 2 is an upcoming fighting video game being developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is the sequel to 2013's Injustice: Gods Among Us. Out on May 16th for PS4 and Xbox One.
  16. Well I know there's some on here that love abit of Fishing. Here's a game that isn't like the arcade version from Sega and looks more like a simulator. Now you can sit in front of your tv for hours in the warmth without a bite!
  17. Anyone tried this? It's a free hack and slash game on the ps4 and it rapidly grown its player base since its release in December 2016. 2 million downloads already. They've even created a quick short tv advert that is a little weird but I suppose anything to create some new fuss. Can't grumble, its free!
  18. Patch 1.05 brings a bunch of anticipated bits and pieces to the release, including an increased level cap (up from 99 to 120), and 60 frames per second support for PS4 Pro users. The update also adds new limited-time hunts to the game, the ability to save more of Prompto's photos (up from 150 to 200), and access to the portable music player while riding a chocobo. Hopefully the aforementioned hunts will breathe some new life into the release, since Square Enix seems so eager to treat the title like a constantly evolving project. The patch weighs in at 2.1GB on Sony's system.
  19. Mass Effect: Andromeda current release date March 21st for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC
  20. Current release date February 28th for PS4
  21. Both original games released on PS2 over 10 years look like they'll be released on ps4 wity full trophy support. Save The Homeland and A Wonderful Life have popped up with ERSB ratings. No official date yet. Anyone play the original games? The series has always fascinated me somewhat when watching from the sidelines.
  22. This has been put for 2 years now and due to the success of this game they are releasing free DLC on this anniversary, which has 3 new areas to exlplore. In the game's daytime you build your base and decide how your stretched resources will be used; and at night you scavenge a dangerous, war-torn city for more. It's a game about civilians surviving a war, rather than soldiers fighting one, and is uniquely powerful and poignant because of it. The game's success changed 11 bit's fortunes. A PS4 and Xbox One version of This War of Mine was released at the beginning of the year, and there's even a This War of Mine board game for 2017. Will look to pick this up over the next few months as it's only 15/20 quid for a new copy.
  23. Your PlayStation 4 dashboard will soon host a Tournaments feature, in collaboration with ESL. Xbox One recently got a Tournaments feature of its own, but Sony's partnership with ESL, the world's largest esports company, is an intriguing point of differentiation. Announcing the feature, ESL said users would be able to find and participate in competitions it organises, which will number in the hundreds every week and be open to PS4 users around the world. "We're incredibly excited to be able to offer this seamlessly integrated solution for the most passionate esports fans," ESL exec Marcel Menge said. "In the partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment, we're going to host hundreds of weekly tournaments for players from any corner of the world. Anyone who wants to try their hand at competitive gaming, can now easily do so across a wide variety of titles." NBA 2K17, Mortal Kombat X and Project Cars will be among the first games to support tournaments when it launches in the near future - but there's no word yet on a specific date.
  24. Surprised we haven't talked about this a little more. The story looks a pretty decent one and they haven't held back in terms of including racist elements to help support the story to ensure the player gets the most of the experience (developers have said it was crucial). The biggest talk for pc players so far is that it's running on 30FPS not 60. The graphics look okay and it wasn't ever going to beat GTA in comparison but it could be worth a dip in the pocket. Review below - I didn't take much notice of the reviewer, just wanted to see some gameplay.
  25. The demo is live today so I'm going to download it later and give it a bash at some point. Let's use this thread for initial thoughts
