  4. Having a problem where, when I want to quote someone I no longer see the quote /quote commands in square brakets (can't do it or it'll make a quote if you follow me) which making inter-thread quoting difficult for me. I am using IE8 at the moment and haven't had this trouble before. Can't trey it from the iPad but will do when I get home It's taking the fun out of the "Out Of Context" thread !

  12. That's dissing the house brick, surely?
  13. Can you imagine the jam sessions in heaven with Jimi and this guy, with Rory Gallagher chipping in as well? This is easily the best track I've listened to for a long time!!
  14. What it says - any acts you wished you'd seen live, especially in their prime, but never did. These are mine:- Pink Floyd AC/DC Bruce Springsteen Jeff Healey - such a loss Stevie Ray Vaughan
  15. I'll stop spamming the thread now for a while Another birthday treat. These guys played Ipswich Town Football Club to ~ 20,000 people in 2005 Edit: I've just remembered why I refuse to go to the big festivals (apart from the awful toilets) - it's all those twats at the front waving the flags so you can't see from further back! Coldplay at V Festival doesn't count as big as it was early days for that festival and the crowds, from memory, were about 40-50,000
  16. YouTube has just gone up in my estimation! I was actually at this gig at the age of 18 with a quarter bottle of scotch and *shudder* a 12 foot tarten scarf. I can remember this gig as it was the one where Kieth Richards made a guest appearance. Shortly afterwards, it was annonced that Ronnie Wood was leaving the Faces to join the Stones
  17. This was the first birthday gig we went to when the Foos were support!!!
  18. Birthday gigs included these guys in one of the first gigs from the new Wembley stadium but their YT channel won't play it atm so here's something more recent from somewhere warmer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9MO1FFGj7M
  19. In the crowd for this one as well. For a while I used to take my 3 boys (now aged 24, 27 and 29) to summer gigs as birthday presents http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-98DQdaTqs And it was topped off by this part - apparently we were all mofo's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WFw7rgPumY
  20. Saw these guys in a much, much smaller venue - in a fire trap basement below The Hope and Anchor pub in Islington, London to a couple of hundred people "This is our first single which is out now"
  21. Another high point, I think me andthe missus were there the night before as we didn't get wet!
  22. And these guys were my second gig, after that it''s a blur
