If you are going to buy a vanguard weapon, I would say, the up for anything auto rifle is pretty good, or the another nitc scout rifle...

I say hold for a helmet... if you use golden gun, get the archophage symbiote helmet for the extra golden gun shot... get you vanguard rank up to 3 asap so you can buy some better weapons...

stay away from the rifle... unless collecting... what are you (guardian wise??) most people want an exotic helmet...
