    Did a bunch of missions with a guy called xnofate last night, not sure who he is but must be from somewhere in this forums history. Anyone know him?

    Oh yeah that guy, we booted him from the clan because he did a prestige hack. So I removed him from my friendslist as well as others. But I guess you never got the memo.

    I'll have you, I grow weary of my grudge. *extends hand*

     

    How did you deal with the Wizards? What was your overall strategy? We tried the weekly heroic version of the same strike and got hosed.

     

     

    So the special mission for the Thorn has a respawn delay. The weekly strike mission does not. We tried the weekly afterwards and could not do it. So a way we did it was work on the throlls and acolytes and knights. If wizards spawned we went into the same door you originally came through. But don't sit in that room the is another room before that where you will be safe. The room just before you enter Phogorth has a Shrieker that spawns.

     

    Any who, so after sitting in that room for cover and luring all the enemy to you. You can eventually defeat Xyor who is a Wizard as well. Plus all enemies have Arc Shields; but the wizards have Fire Shields. So we used fusion rifles for arc and machine guns with fire damage.

    I'm at the very last stage of the "Light in the Dark" exotic bounty. At stake, the exotic hand cannon Thorn.

     

    I need to kill Xyor the Unwed in a special version of the summoning pits strike on the moon. It's a level 26 strike mission, I forget what modifiers are active, but I don't believe Nightfall is one of them.

     

     

    If you're interested in helping me conquer this mission, let me know. I'm not sure if you need to be level 26 to get in, or if that's just the level of the strike. I'll check on some of those details when back on the game this evening.

    Mission Rewards WT

    Yeah, I think that's the issue. I was replaying story missions on higher difficulty and not getting any mission rewards. Then I went into the strike playlist and was getting them like normal. The think I felt cheated over was doing the Daily Heroic story mission and not getting any mission reward at the end. *shakes fist*

    You know that by trading in spinmetal, blooms, helium things, and relic iron to the vanguard quartermaster you get +25 rep, +5 vanguard marks, glimmer, and +1 mote of light? Holy shit. I don't know if that's every time or what, but that's what I just got for 50 spirit blooms.

    Some of the stuff you find on different planets are also used when upgrading Legendary and Exotic gear and weapons. So don't go waisting away all your resources.

    So my kubrow matured this evening, I took him on 1 mission then out him away so I could get on with hatching my 2nd egg I found...

    So I started the incubation, I didn't rush this time as I have a kubrow to level up already aswell as wyrm prime. I went into my mods and saw 2 rare mods I never saw before, they were kubrow mods,

    For a raksa. Basically I know that's what I'm getting from my egg in 2 days time, I'm not sure if your meant to know before it hatches or not...

    So there's a tip if you want to know what type of kubrow your getting before you actually get it...

    My kubrow is still maturing and its a Raksa. It has like a dark grey with black tiger stripes. Not sure when my kubrow is going to be ready.

     

    How do you like Mirage? I'm building the chassis right now, then I have to collect it and go get the system build that and then build the warframe. Its going to take a bit of time but I'm willing to wait and not exhaust any plat for it.

    I had my 3rd range inservice for the year, and even though I was using the issued Glock for the majority of the shooting, I saw a marked improvement in my accuracy at 25 yards to 50 yards.  I was able to shoot more intuitively despite the different platform, so dry fire practice does have benefits beyond the particular weapon platform you are practicing with.  I still did not shoot as well as I do with my Sig, but that's a given for me at this point.  Today I tried to really concentrate on why, and I think a lot of it boils down to the pistol grip.  The fatty Glock grip just doesn't let me feel like I have a good purchase with my support hand, making me squeeze to hard with my strong hand, pushing rounds left.  When I combat that, I can bring them back center.  Sights are also a limiting factor, I really like having a different color up front as it allows both eyes open shooting to be easier and more accurate, as well as faster to acquire.

    Your strong hand being that you are a lefty and squeezing to hard makes the bullets go left. I'm a righty and I can understand bullets going to the right if my grip is too tight. I was just curious, and if you are a righty how would the bullets go to the left depending on grip?

    Who's Pre-Ordering?

    So I went to put more down on my pre-order today. So the two special editions that are out there for Destiny were sold out, which is fine by me because I really don't need the extra stuff laying around. But they had the expansion pack for Destiny which I did reserve that with my game. It has the added multiplayer maps and more story missions with this expansion pack. I'm sure there is other stuff included but this is what I read real quick when getting it.

     

    Who else is getting the expansion pack?

    Assuming Microsoft hasn't craftily nabbed all the streaming links for Live owners only; I assume you'll be able to watch it live online through IGN, Twitch and the other main sites. Will probably be uploaded to YouTube soon after the unveiling too and then the Ali-A and Tmartn; the free advertising puppets under the thumb of Activison will probably publish their breakdowns in more detail.  

    I'd rather watch Drift0r's Breakdown videos. I can't stand those two that you mentioned; IMO.

    Ok because I logged on and the moon mission was available so I went and did that. I have not seen or achieved anything for playing on the Beta. So I hope that if you were on and "maybe" did the moon mission and finished it. It will show up on the full game and you get your beta exclusive emblem.

    The weekly update has a picture of the emblem/callsign you get for playing the beta today

    Do you get this emble/call sign right away or once the Full game is out. Where did you find out what it was?

    The vehicles on the MP is very annoying. I know the game is killed based and not what flags you have. The flags are the multiplier for kills. ex: holding 2 flags and you kill 1 opposing member +200 points towards your score. But anyways with the vehicles people (same people) seem to stay in them the whole game and thats all they do. This is my only complaint on the Beta for the MP. I hope they do something to help destroy the vehicles rather than waiting for Heavy ammo or a Super.
