You'll only be able to play with current gen (PS5) users. However I believe it's only Martin who will be without a PS5 by the time we start playing FC24. I wonder if we could do anything with the FGFGF to get Martin involved still @GazzaGarratt?

After reading Meditations over the course of my holiday I've decided to dig a little deeper into Stoicism and came across this video which is pretty good. Note: It does a good job of outlining the skew version you get in popular culture pretty well @phil bottle. I also enjoyed the comments about the similarities between Stoicism and Buddhism ethics.

Not promising however considering the governments plans to roll out a digital currency in the near future. System infrastructure already being put in place. No doubt a link with some sort of credit system similar to ones in China.

The technology is sound, and the concept was promising, just seems a shame the application of it was really under utilised.

Thought Brighton played amazing again on the weekend. United look to be really struggling now.

Richy was well deserving of the Fans MotM. Spurs were unlucky not to get a penalty or two as well, played really well. Had Chelsea down to draw on the Predictions - not surprised they're still struggling. Sterling was unlucky not to score the free kick though.

Also looking forward to starting a new Ultimate Team, might put a bit more effort into it this year. And with the Ultimate Edition I'll be applicable to try the Nike UT Career, not sure what that will be, but should be fun.

Decided to purchase the Ultimate Edition as I'm hoping to get a PS5 for my birthday in November. Looking forward to starting a new career mode too, might look to record it for fun.

The players they've brought in aren't bad, the issue is probably more the fact that the team is completely made up of new signings and no one knows each other. Rather than re-building slowly they've just said 'fuck it' and brought an entirely new team.

I don't know why Harry Maguire didn't join West Ham. Think he would've done well there. Tut-tut Phil, political opinion creeping out again 👀😂

And I agree having a good backbone in the squad is a good idea and will help when bringing in new players to help them adapt to the squad. However we have that, in good players like Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, John Stones.

The Netherlands and Belgium are prime examples of what's happening to teams that can't part with 'key' players that obviously need replacing.

I get that, and you're probably right... However, I don't think they provide enough to justify being picked, again. We need better talent in the squad and build around them instead of using these players just because they almost worked before.
