Oh trust me. I understood completely. I understood that you admire the values taught. But you are pulling punches and hiding behind half-sincere "to each their own" and "everyone can like what they want" comments while previously implying something is wrong with them [bronies]. But thats besides the point. I completely understand if you dont like FIM. Its not everyones bag. Hell, if you think the fan base as disgusting, Im okay with that. But putting pictures on here in hopes of shaming an entire community over a small minority will not fly. <---this is the main point of the reply Block me. Go ahead. You could have atleast picked something non-anthromorphic or even non-loli (underage-looking), you obviously searched for both in an attempt to prove some misguided point and have everyone recoil in disgust. tsk tsk. There are far worse things than MLP R34. Far. Worse. As you have a background in 4chan Sennex, Im sure you have heard of Rule 34 of the internet. Im 1000 percent sure there are people yanking it to Teletubbies or Seasame Street pr0n, why do you focus solely on the FIM community? The fact that you heinously paint bronies with a crusty-blanket statement is a testament to to your ignorance and your unwillingness to learn. @Frace What people dont understand is that more than just grown men watch this show (and they arent even that grown, the average age is 22 years old). Teenagers, children, and people of all race/gender/age/background all like delving into FIM. Yeah, in-between season times gradually depletes your brony meter. x) But season 4 is nearly upon us! And if the animatic or the leake bits are of any example, its gonna be great.

The associations with furries is merely a desperate bottom-of-the-barrel remark used by people to probe bronies for a reaction. Grasping at straws, if you will. /ponifying supposed to be funny and tounge-in-cheek.

The best and only sufficient explaination I can think of is this: It appeals to the kid in me. Yes, Im only 19. But I had to grow up fast. Something about this show (whether it be the humor, or the animation, or the characters or the ability to go to extreme levels of "D'aww" without ever becoming cringeworthy) makes me feel happy and content. Everyone has an inner child they like to indulge with cartoons and video games, me liking this show is no different (no matter the packaging). Atleast I think they have an inner child. /God, I hope they have an inner child.

I cant tell you the times Ive had Homestuck or Dr Who pushed on me, you dont see me singling them out because "I think theyre annoying". --- And there you go again with the "taking it too far" thing. Again: so what? If you want to express yourself by representing your fandom, I pity the guy who judges you. Relentlessly attacked? LOL! Maybe if you call them a ponyf@g (which Ive been called many times) or if your post/points come off as judging or condescending (which, to be fair, they do), then yes, you will probably be met with the fury of a thousand suns (one can only L&T so many times). But in my time as a brony, I have NEVER come across a person who didnt deserve the hate they got. There are a handful of regulars here I got to like the show you wouldnt even know are bronies (not the guys who asked in my ppr or the new guys I brought from dA). They refuse to reveal themselves over fear of ridicule. At first I thought it was silly (this forum is filled with sensible folks), but with posts like ol Sennex's up there, I cant help but shake my head and chuckle. Its a cartoon that just so happens to have candy-colored equines in it. You dont have to "get" it, for there is nothing to be got. Its funny, it doesnt talk down to you, and the community is great. In the end, isnt that what matters, and not what packaging it comes in? If you (generally speaking) dont like it (assuming you tried it), its fine. It didnt appeal to you. Just dont assume something is wrong with those that it did appeal to. @Sennex EDIT- Yknow, I had this thing written out, but on second thoughy, Im not even going to entertain you with a response. Stew in your troll-sauce. It used to be a term for "male fans of NLPFIM", although the term is now unisex.So now, just "fans of MLPFIM". I'll post a lil sumthin sumthin tomorrow to explain it better.
