  1. I rented Gods of Egypt, and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, last night. Haven't had a chance to watch either, but I will today at some point
  2. There are some huge changes coming, they haven't really announced them all officially, but a lot of devs are poking into the DE forums and posting things. I was going to try to compile them all here, but don't have the time currently, I will when I get home though

    The Grattler

Odd side note After running that mission 3 times, I realized I hadn't once taken damage from anything. Everytime the End mission screen popped I was at 0%. Not saying the grattler makes you invincible, but if you get the hang of ducking and weaving with the archwing, the grattler will really help your game by demolishing the enemy

    The Grattler

So, I ended up using the market coupon to pick it up. I jumped into the Arch mission on Mercury, its an exterminate mission. While the Grattler only has about 54 rounds, and the range is what I would consider "short to mid" for archwings, it was still a really good weapon. Each round explodes at the end, which doesn't sound like a lot, but you can "pepper" the enemy and weaken them before they get to you. It has a spin up time similar to the Soma, which is hard to get used to at first, as your first few rounds will most likely miss, but from that point on, you are firing at a rate where it doesn't matter. Special note: The flame shield enemies get eaten the fuck up by the Grattler. IDK if it just outright ignores their shields or what, but I never once had an issue with killing them at range. I really recommend this weapon for anyone that wants to do Archwing missions to clear out planets. It was far better in my opinion than the Corvus or Imperator.
  6. Wrap that in some rice and seaweed and I would eat it! Awesome pics man, I would have loved to have gone fishing this weekend.
  7. Set it to Friends only instead of Solo. That way if any of us are on we can help you. There are a few of us that wander around after the objective to get all of the chests and things. Also at higher level, you will want to be able to group with randoms, as a lot of the missions after Saturn are really hard to solo, at least IMO. Also Archwing missions suck without help! Not because they are difficult, but because the Archwing, even though I sort of enjoy it, is a righteous pain in the ass
  8. The game is intriguing, and I really hope that I will enjoy it. But.... I am all about exploring until I find an amazing spot, and then fortifying the bejeezus out of it!
  9. https://gfycat.com/PleasedPleasingHawk enjoy
  10. I have exactly the same questions I keep seeing comparisons to Minecraft, but with MC you explore and build.
  11. Was the Division based off of Clancy's work?
  12. Okay, thats what I noticed, but I wasn't sure. Over all I enjoy the game, but I felt like I wasn't moving fast enough. I hit 2250 (or so), and had a ton of things explored, but was still struggling to meet production costs for Fleets. I had mined everything I could in Sol, and was moving onto the neighboring systems. Which I think is fine, but I honestly felt as if I should have been moving faster
  13. Do the presidential elections even matter? They didn't appear to when I was playing Also, I really wish you could split a stack of citizens up. in the few hours I played, I had 3 land areas that were developed but with zero population in them yet. If I moved people then it moved the whole stack of 4-5. Why can't I just move 1?
  14. Any of you all tried it? I snagged a copy of it, and was able to play for a few hours. It feels more like what I wanted out of Beyond Earth than what BE actually delivered.
  15. Dave always delivers great setups! [10:31 AM, 5/25/2016] David Knibbe: It's always amused me that Murica is seemingly the only country ever to have caught a ufo [10:31 AM, 5/25/2016] David Knibbe: Must be Murican aliens [10:31 AM, 5/25/2016] Bart: you mean mexicans?
  16. https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/4kycw7/ability_nuances_more_people_need_to_be_familiar/ Frosts Snowglobe - Does NOT scale with duration, it has used health values since update 12. If you cast snowglobe inside an existing one then what health is left will be added to your new snowglobe since update 15.13. It can be stacked like this infinitely up to a total health value of one million. Hydroid Pilfering Swarm augment - Since update 17.0.4 Hydroids tentacles do not need to kill the enemies, only need to hold them. They do not need to do any actual damage, so you could have a negative power strength Hydroid and pilfering swarm will still work. Mirage Eclipse - This is not an on/off ability. Testing has shown there is a gradient of power given. Mirage Eclipse augment - Only works on physical type powers. It will buff attacks like Ashs Shuriken. If you leave the buff area you lose the buff. Limbo - Lasers don't work while you're in the rift. Having trouble with moon spy? Rift walk and run around at a leisurely pace. Nekros Shadows of the dead augment - With this he can get up to 90% damage reduction with a power strength of 215% making him rather tanky, along with his armour stripping 2 ability you can be so much more than a desecrate bot. Oberon Smite infusion augment - It's a damage buffer which can give your (Oberons) power strength as bonus radiation damage. Buffs weapons and some abilities following the same damage types as Mirages eclipse. Rhino Roar - It gives up to a maximum 149.5% buff to all damage types. What it lacks in power it makes up for in usefulness. If you're just doing draco however stick with Mirage for her ~600% buff or Frost/Ember/Volt/Saryn/Oberon for their respective ~300% buffs. Chroma Effigy credit farming - To make the most out of Chromas effict giving you bonus cash, don't kill unless you need to. The effigy itself needs to kill enemies for the effect to work. Equinox Pacify and Provoke augment - Makes night Equinox a good support frame. AoE slow, you want to tank a bit, an AoE heal (though it does require a bit of charge time) and a stun. I prefer night Equinox to Trinity when playing support, I can run around supporting as I need to instead of getting "EV?!?" spammed in chat. Nova's Molecular Prime travels further when you increase duration. NOT range. Only the explosion radius on death is affected by range. Nova's Antimatter Drop is NOT affected by range. Strength only affects the base damage, NOT the absorbed damage. Nova's Null Star increase in number with more duration, NOT strength. Valkyr - Warcry: While affected by an allied Valkyr's Warcry, you can move into Nullifier bubbles without the buff being removed. Only when Valkyr enters a bubble, the buff will be stripped off everyone immediately. Valkyr - Eternal War (Warcry augment): The duration of the party members' buff is directly tied to Valkyr's buff duration. So if you want to have a longer Warcry buff to continue your own melee rampage, don't steal all kills from Valkyr so she can prolong your own buff. You're helping her (and yourself) by not helping her. Equinox Mend and Maim - The absorbed damage from kills for Mend and Maim is NOT affected by power strength, only the constant slash damage is. If you're using a Maim nuker build, negative power strength is fine. Ash Bladestorm - A few things here that a lot of people don't seem to know... Bladestorm is only affected by attack speed mods, not by any other weapon mods OR weapon attack speed. Combo counter on Bladestorm IS affected by Body Count, so combining Body Count with the Rising Storm augment can give a very long combo counter. Rising Storm augment is affected by duration mods, so using it with 12% duration is not particularly useful. Shield Polarize - Each shield-drain explosion does not harm the enemy whose shields are drained. It will only harm other enemies in the explosion radius. Also, that damage diminishes (a lot) with distance. Getting enemies clumped up close together will provide a bigger buff to SP damage than any buffer can provide. (I will clean this post up later)
  17. TF2 is one of the most fun FPS games I have ever played. It is still out there and just as huge today as it was years ago. Overwatch swiped the graphical look from TF2, and a lot of the feel for the weapons. Mercy heals really felt like I was playing the Doctor in TF2. I don't remember the other characters in Overwatch enough to draw comparisons
  18. SC2, the Terran campaign was a lot of fun if you want to give SC2 a go. The Zerg/ Kerrigan campaign was really sort of boring and it meandered around the place a lot. I didn't finish the Protoss campaign, and I honestly wish I could have gotten my money back. The other RTS games you mentioned though, I absolutely loved!
  19. I really hope this is solid. Please keep us posted! Also there is a phone game for 40k called Freeblade. It lets you play as a Knight Errant for the Dark Angels. It is a decent amount of fun so far.
  20. Owl, I will send you Lords of the Fallen if you want to try it. It is really a ton of fun for being a DS style game
  21. I used to be, but between what they did with WoW, the episodic release of SC2 (Which honestly wasn't worth the cost), and then Activision putting their fingers in things like destiny, I just can't get behind them as a company.
  22. Glad I used my coupon to buy him then He was the next one on my sons list anyway
  23. This game is still on my radar, I had a lot of fun with the Beta Once the price drops I will most likely grab it for when I need a break from being a Ninja helicopter
