    I'll add them to spoilers in the future. That said you're doing yourself a disservice by not reading the comics, you've a less than 50% chance that what happens in the comics will happen on the show. The people involved can talk for days about how great they and the show are but it's terrible in comparison. This last 2 episodes have been just ok. Action packed end of season coming up. Wooooo

    OK so I'm through 1963 From Russia with Love and 1:28:xx into 1964 Goldfinger. My girl fell asleep last night. FRWL was pretty boring but I'm liking Goldfinger. The movies are starting to get more and more of what I thought Bond was about (a spy with cool toys and a bad ass car who gets it in with all the hot bitches where and whenever he can) There are a few 1 liners so far but I really laughed in the beginning of Goldfinger when JB spun the ho he was kissing on around so she gets knocked out then fights and throws the attacker and a fan into the tub only to finish up with "Shocking. Positively shocking." O also there was a worst music in a bond film thread here, I think, and I want to nominate the Goldfinger score/theme. I think the ba ba ba's are supposed to be like the music is saying Goldfinger but it keeps reminding me of Moon River.

    Thanks to everyone who’s shared their thoughts… My “dad” was also an absentee. Mom and I lived with him for a while and it was a miserable experience. In short him and I did not get along. He got sick and requested I visit him so he could make amends after 15 years of him being a ghost. I refused and told my Aunt, his sister who I am close with, that I would never give him the satisfaction of apologizing to me and allow him to feel better about treating my mother and I so awfully. It wasn't even adversarial in nature; he chose his path and I wasn’t in it. He lost out and I'm confident I'm better off not having him around. On the mother fuck cancer subject I wholeheartedly agree. Took me a while to post this but I had the displeasure of watching my ex’s brother pass from brain cancer. He was taking an experimental drug, 714-X, at the time that was working to shrink his tumor from softball size to a golf ball but he grew tired of injecting it, tapped out and let it take him. I’ve had Aunts, Uncles and co-workers pass from cancer but I didn’t watch it progress like his. He was 6'+ 270 pounds when I met him and only 120 lbs. when he passed. I was very hard to wrap my head around.

    I’d like to participate in this thread but I haven’t seen all of the films. I watched Dr. No last night as a kick start. It was well done for the time. I started getting interested in watching them all when I briefly watched 1974 - The Man with the Golden Gun on TV. I refuse to watch movies on TV so I can’t wait to watch up to it! I have seen Casino Royale & Skyfall. Even though I really enjoyed Casino Royale Craig’s sucked in cheeks and duck face lips disqualify him from consideration in the running. I’ll vote when I’ve done the research.

    6 more inches, that really stinks. Recently my area dodged two big snow storms that fell south of us. We only got a dusting last night but the freezing rain made up for it. It was 65 Tuesday my yard was a mud swamp, today it’s a sheet of ice. It’s been one of the coldest winters in terms of length of time at or below freezing and our snowfall is close to the record high of 1995. All this forced natural gas and electric to go up 25% and 38% respectively because more was used/generated to handle heating demands. People are pissed… Kick rocks winter!

    I'm jealous Like my 9th grade social studies teacher used to say "Gonna get me some trigger time and kill Bambi!" I've been invited but never gone... As for images I don't have any handy of just me. I try not to post images of myself online. Speaking of I like Doc's approach.

    I bet; it's not a feel good movie. At the very end to read what he stood up for and accomplished after all of that is amazing though.

    Depressing movie day: 12 Years a Slave - I see what all the fuss was about. Very well done. Story progresses fast but it's easy to follow. It's sickening actually but yay American history. Dallas Buyers Club - Not as great as I anticipated. Not sure why Leto won best supporting actor for a roll he pretty much already played in Requiem for a Dream? Meh.
