I busted it out for a few rounds the other day. Used the N7 Demolisher; I like being able to pick whatever weapons I want without worrying about cooldowns.

It's only on PS4. I tried Warlock first, but I'll have a good bit of time to play tomorrow so I'm going to try the other two.

It depends, but most are actually decent. I never had any trouble with that boss with randoms.

So I found the default controls to be a little clunky so I changed a few things. I was curious if you guys have as well. My setup: Circle: Melee (I'm used to this from always using Tactical in CoD) D pad Up: Context action (hack, capture, etc) R1: Crouch D pad Right: Cycle powers L1: Use selected power. I did this because some abilities (like Oberon's Smite) have to be aimed at an enemy before you can use them and I find it difficult to swipe the touchpad while aiming at someone. I use the touchpad for any powers that don't need to be aimed.

I guess what I meant by that is that CoD is known more for the fast paced, kill or die every 30 seconds action while Battlefield is about the open spaces and is more tactical. In that respect I actually prefer BF3 to BF4. I hate Metro and I hate Dom in BF4 so it doesn't sound like this game is for me.

Your thoughts so far? I've only explored a little and done a mission or two but I already love it. I love the mechanics, movement, shooting, atmosphere. This game is going to be beyond epic.

Think I'll be passing on this. To me Battlefield mechanics and fast paced don't mix well. Battlefield is always at its worst when it's trying to copy Call of Duty.

I'd forgotten my Origin email is an account I don't have access to anymore so it looks like I won't be trying it after all. No big deal, I don't think the game looks all that interesting, I was just going to try it because why not.

I wasn't sure how the MP was going to be in this game but that looks like a LOT of fun.

I felt that way at first, then the game got pushed way back and I can't wait to get just a little taste.

I'm not thrilled by the setting or the co-op aspect. Not sure how I feel about this one yet.

That was awesome! Getting excited for this game now. I hope the super jumping does make it into multiplayer, it'll make for faster, more varied gameplay.

Thanks for the tip, I'd forgotten that Dark Sector conflicts had battle pay and have been ignoring them. Another good source of credits is to sell mods you don't need. I sold most of my duplicates off yesterday for 100k.

I did see the trading post. I'll finish it tomorrow when my forma is done. After that I've got some mods I can give you guys that will be helpful, like Redirection (increases shields) if you don't have it yet.
