Patch 3.4 brings MANY changes to Fortnite Battle Royale! 

HIGHLIGHTS:
- Guided Missile has been added
- New mode: Sniper Shootout v2
- Shotgun rarity changes
- Launch Pad drop rate increase
- Egg Launcher added
- Boogie Bomb is back

BUG FIXES:
- Fixed the bug where chests appear as unopened
- Fixed the bug that caused revived players to be stuck
- Bullseyes will no longer appear on the map after completing the challenge
- The object pop-up/render issue has been fixed

PERFORMANCE CHANGES:
- Reduced lag
- Improved performance and resolution on consoles
- Improved frame rate when many other players are nearby

INTERFACE:
- Players can now zoom in and zoom out the map
- Kill feed shows distance for all knock downs or eliminations from 50 meters or more

Sniper shootout version 2? Anyone know what's the difference to the first version?

 

The zoom feature is a great addition. Should be able to see how many houses are in a specific area before jumping in now.

Had a quick go with @Prodi-Cal_Son on Sniper shootout v2 after GTA night finished. We won it as well!

 

Not sure I can see differences. There are Hunting Rifles and Snipers avaiable everywhere.

 

I'd suggest you pick up 2 hunting rifles or bolt snipers so when you're in a fight you can alternate firing 2 bullets far quicker than waiting for reload to happen.

 

Also, in a 1v1 close fight your pickaxe could probably be the best weapon. The last guy nearly took us both out with his whilst we're trying to hit a sniper shot from 1 yard.
