Starpoint Gemini series

So this game franchise was mainly Space Sims, but they also have come out with a strategy game. I picked up #2 in the series and it is decent so far. Here is the trailer

This looks interesting Bart. In what way is it strategic? Is it like chess play against one opponent? Part of the map, which looked huge btw, seemed like the board game Risk slightly.

This one is not a Strategy game. The series has one though, it is called Starpoint Gemini Warlords.

 

I haven't finished the tutorial yet in it, to be able to say how it is

The idea of Space Strategy sounds pretty cool. Let me know how it goes.
