Harrison 202
In my opinion the white sand looks better Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/424-what-looks-better/#findComment-11596 Share on other sites
Just Cal 461
What colour are the lights again at night? Blue isn't it? If blue, I'd go with the black. burnfitbillyboy 505
Looking at the pictures I'd say white, but like Cal said if the lights are blue it will look pretty awesome at night with the black sand. Uncle Dangle 22
I was fully expecting to see Drifter in two different bikinis when I clicked on this thread. Frankly, I'm a little disappointed. I'd go with the black sand. Just feels exotic to me. That's how I roll. Exotic. Drifter 851
Moon lights at night are LED blue. I was orginally leaning white, then thought black....now I was thinking white agin because it's more natural looking for where these fish come from. Now I'm torn again lol. I just want to make sure I pick one and not change because last thing I want to do is change out 200lbs of sand in a 31" deep tank later on I may have to hire the Pool Boy Dave to do that if that's the case Diddums 1 Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/424-what-looks-better/#findComment-11611 Share on other sites
Plumbers Crack 4,060
If where the fish come from had white sand, then theyare probably going to settle better with it, they can see any food on the floor easier and they'll probably look better against the white sand. White gets my vote Thanks to Capn_Underpants for the artwork Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/424-what-looks-better/#findComment-11620 Share on other sites
FullMetalPikmin 20
I'd probably say wite sand, considering most sand is a fairly light color, even when it comes to some parts of an ocean or river/lake. However, if you want a distinct, dark, feel from the tank, I'd say black. It all depends on the way you want the tank itself to be portrayed. Baabcat 1,646
I'd go white sand. When I had a fish tank many moons ago my favourite fish was my catfish, which would blend in too much with the black. It's about the fish, so id go white to see them better Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/424-what-looks-better/#findComment-11725 Share on other sites
BO7H B4RRELS 2,453
Steve, you're a Microsoft Paint God! hahaha If you're going with the blue lighting, I'd say black. I think they'd look nice together. Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/424-what-looks-better/#findComment-11777 Share on other sites

cyberninja2601 1,106
First of all I am thankful this wasn't a man scaping tread I think black is probably better. The color of the fish are more vibrant with the black background. I like better anyways Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/424-what-looks-better/#findComment-11900 Share on other sites
Racist Giraffe 73
I think the white looks nicer! Fun fact: When a male honey bee climaxes during sex, his testicles explode and he dies.
