Drifter 851 Posted September 17, 2015 Share Posted September 17, 2015 Couple weeks ago I was given a ficus bonsai to add to my bonsai collection by a good friend's Dad since he could not take his bonsai to his new assisted living home with him, so decided to do a little work to it before I head up North for the weekend. I decided to keep his Dad's original vision he had for it of the 7 tree forest, and just improved upon it a bit by uncrossing some of the trunks so they don't cross over each other, and opened up the canopy a bit so it will promote some back budding up top. I've known my friend and his Dad the entire 40+ years of my life, so I'm really glad to be able to add one of his bonsai to my growing collection in my bonsai garden.
